Allegations of mistreatment by victim of gay bar attack dismissed By Associated Press Wednesday, August 9, 2006 - Updated: 11:28 AM EST

NEW BEDFORD - The state has dismissed allegations by a victim of a hatchet attack at a gay bar in New Bedford who said emergency workers delayed his treatment and physically and verbally abused him because he’s gay. He wants to make money as a "victim".
