I am glad you brought up that passage, because I think it is important.
I often ask people who won the Tet Offensive. I have found that a great many people my age think we lost it (as I did until about 10 years ago) and when I inform them of the facts, they are astounded.
How do we really know that anything we see is the truth? Unless I am seeing live video of an event as it happens, I am unsure about ANY of the reports. When one thinks of the poor local reporting of events (check the corrections section of any newspaper and the letters to the editor where people often complain) it seems that we are not really well-informed. We know a lot of stuff, but if all of the stuff is skewed and misrepresented, what do we really know?

Thanks.
" various types of hoaxes, lies and other deceptions perpetrated by Reuters ..."
It is not only photo shopping, that and alot more.
Many on my other post were stuck on that.
If you see anything else good, please let me know.

"We know a lot of stuff, but if all of the stuff is skewed and misrepresented, what do we really know?" I recently read a biography of Pope John Paul's life. I had the experience of asking myself, how did I lived through some of the political nightmare that was happening in Poland, without understanding it.
I think I'm beginning to understand.

Another thing from the article I meant to mention: Reuters claims that the time on the photo
does not represent the time that the picture was taken????
What does it represent then? Their answers are nonsensical.

Thanks.
GHG is really an expert when it comes to staging photos to make Israel and America look bad.
Now those staged photos are making Rooters, AP and the rest of the MSM look like full blown liars, spinners and PR conmen for the Islamofascists.

Indeed. I had the experience the other day of finding out someone well-educated was unaware of the historical anti-semitism in Europe.
This kind of went with when I found out that my store manager (when I sold furniture) didn't know that Switzerland was in Europe.

The author did not date his article (the original at the link). It should be helpful in the future if he did.

What does it represent then? Their answers are nonsensical.Oh they are very sensical. If they set the accurate times on their cameras, they would be unable to manipulate public opinion as easily.
To me it represents incompetence or fraud. No other explanation makes sense, for a "profession".

Well, the time stamp on my photos is usually my home time zone time, since I don't bother changing the campera's clock when I'm out of the USA for just a few days. so pictures that were taken late in the day may actually show a morning time. However, the time on the photo is correct for home time zone, and knowing the hours + or - GMT, I can get the actual local time.
Maybe Reuters ought to try that explanation.
