you think these are avowed Communists because they take advantage of the Communist's willingness to help them cause trouble. Wouldn't you agree that the Muslims are taking advantage of the help, but are no more committed to Communism than they are to Western ideology, even though they also take advantage of that that it suits them?
It seems to me that Communism is an ideology which - whatever "merits" or demerits anyone perceives in it - is undeniably suited to the aggrandizement of unaccountable power.

It seems to me that Islam is a worldview which - whatever "merits" or demerits anyone perceives in it - is undeniably suited to the aggrandizement of unaccountable power.

What would prevent someone who lusted after power from being attracted to a synthesis of Islam and Communism? About as much, I would think, as prevents a Communists from being attracted to Fascism. IOW, nothing as important to the psychopath as the attraction of power is . . .

The two ideologies fit together very well. This is the point I have been trying to make, apparently without success.

The Ba'thist Party is perhaps the most visible example of this synergy between Islamist terror and Communism.

They are not pretend Communist, they are Communist with a Islam twist.

And if you look at how many terror groups are Communist with a twist then the picture becomes quite alarming indeed.
