Dick Morris, America's most prominent campaign strategist, tells NewsMax that the biggest victim of Joe Lieberman's stunning loss in Connecticut's Democratic primary is Hillary Rodham Clinton.
"The big loser last night was Hillary Clinton," Morris said. "She has to go through the Democratic [presidential] primaries to win and it is an increasingly hostile place for someone who voted for the war and has not recanted."
Senator Clinton has not announced a 2008 bid, but most political observers say she will run and already holds the frontrunner mantle because of her ability to raise funds and tap into her husband's political network.
But Morris says Lieberman has a good chance to win this November's general election as an independent candidate.
"Over one million people will vote in the general election and the fact that Lamont was able to get 150,000 to 200,000 left-wing Democrats to back him doesn't mean he can win in November, Morris said. He added: "Lieberman will broaden the focus of the race to include his work on the environment, climate change, homeland security, tobacco, campaign finance reform and a host of other issues."
"Lamont will increasingly emerge as the lightweight he really is," Morris concluded.
>>Maybe the republicans should be thanking and praising her for her support of the WOT effort. It doesn't hurt to keep reminding the left that she voted for it.<<
Is it OK if we keep our thanks to Senator Clinton to ourselves? :)
He probably said both so he could be right. Jean Dixon the astrology did that regularly.
Like flies to dog doo.
Well I really think that GW and the other party leaders should be letting the left know how much help she was to them. It seems to have helped Joe hasn't it?
We can thank Lamont for irrevokably splitting the democratic party.
Here in Washington state, people need to know, would Maria Cantwell have voted for Lieberman or Lamont?
Look for a big, united GOP victory in November!

They can't win with the loons and they can't without the loons

For the Republicans to win they need to run local - more a series of grass rootes wins than one big united win.
Toe sucker defaming his former employers again. The one thing Boy Clinton did right in his presidency was firing that degenerate.
We just cashed in some BP stock options that we held for about six years, hoping that they stock had just about peaked.
They grow the "wrapper" leaf for cigars.Expensive to grow.
Down here we grow Burley,I`ve got 6 acres about ready to cut.
I hate to root for a Rat but I guess Loserman is the best we can hope for.
True, however in my state Washington there are a number of anti-war folks who aren't motivated to fund, campaign or vote for Cantwell.
Granted most will still vote for her, but I think many will sit on their hands.
I think many moderate democrats are being chased out of their party into the warm inviting arms of the GOP.
Hillary changes her stripes depending on her audience. She always has.
