WH Press Briefing Ping

If you want on, or off, the Tony Snow/WHPB ping list, please FReepMail dinasour

It seems that Tony has sent the goslings back to school, specifically Crawford Middle School. I think this is a perfect venue for these things.

Q Tony, Kofi Annan released a letter today saying that there were grounds for an inquiry into whether Israeli air strikes constituted a pattern in violating international law. Does the President think there are grounds for such inquiry?

Why doesn't Kofi Annan announce a plan for inquiry into rampant antisemitism in the news media and staged photo events capitalizing on controlled strikes?

"MR. SNOW: For the umpteenth time, I will remind you that the President is not trying to conduct foreign policy in the war on terror in response to public opinion polls, but to the realities on the ground, and I am sure that that is going to be an important consideration voters are going to have to make this November: Who really does take seriously the threat of the war on terror; do they acknowledge or not that terrorists are still trying to hurt Americans and American interests around the globe; and who has the most credible way of addressing it. And that is a debate we look forward to having."

Outstanding answer!

Not to Junk Media in the White House Press Whores Club.

Washington DC is NOT the world's Imperial Capital and the President of the US is not the God Emperor of Earth. NOT every problem in the world can be fixed by the US President snapping his fingers.

I guess most of you "Journalists" were too stupid to realize you were being spun when Clinton took credit for everything that went right in the 1990s. I guess that explains your lack of any sort of grasp on factual reality.

there's a new Washington Post poll out today as to which political party people would trust to do a better job handling the U.S. campaign against terrorism? And Democrats got 46 percent, Republicans got 38 percent.

Yep American public really is knowlegable

I believe that is Article XXXIV of the "International Law" which clearly states that Jews are never allowed to shoot back.

My answer: This is a perfect example of why all polls are crap.
