More should have supported Mike Campbell in hte primaries. The name was Tom Campbell, but I certainly agree. With the benefit of hindsight, does any DeLay primary voter think they did the right thing? Any?

He might have but one thing i have that he doesn't is that I didn't sell out my country to special interests nor have I given up on the core belief of a limited government. What has Tommy Boy done to instill the core conservative values of Ronald Reagan other than hammer his special interest buddies for $$$$?
The Republicans have shown that they really aren't any different than the dems when it comes to spending YOUR money.
But, it doesn't make you a bad person that you support someone that is a sell out.

Well your back at it with your propaganda My propoganda? Kettle, meet pot: None of what you said was true.

I don't get why he doesn't just run.
I hate the way he got sold out, and how a DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY prosecutor and the MSM railroaded him out for no reason at all.
Then they won't even let him out of the ballet (even though the dems did it last year and then WITHOUT resigning current office)... so screw 'em.
Run, run hard, and WIN. Don't run this half-assed "I really wish I could get out" write in BS that will just confuse people.
Grow a set already, we need 'da HAMMER back!!!

Your record speaks for itself. It is obvious you are a political opportunist who has a one tract agenda. If you are what you profess to be, a concerned citizen doing good work, it escapes the possibility. I will support any opponent of Lampson be it write in or not. I feel your intent is to defame and obfuscate in hopes of a Democratic victory. That is my opinion and I will continue to point out the facts in regard to your continued dumping of negative articles concerning my district 22.

the real problem is that more than one will try and the democrat will win.

Why couldn't a GOP candidate run as an independent?
To: The Old Hoosier; gumboyaya; sinkspur
I guess in hindsight Tom Campbell is looking pretty good today.

Why couldn't a GOP candidate run as an independent? To appear on the ballot independents had to declare back in January. A write-in in the only chance now. I'd still prefer the Republicans back the Libertarian, Smither. Anything to keep Lampson from winning.
To: avacado
I expect that part of the reason Delay does not wish to run, aside for the obvious lack of desire, is that he had left Congress and did not have to publish the donor list for his defense. If he runs, he will have to publish this and it will be even more fodder for the slander machine. (Not that I think there are any names on there to be ashamed of.) Besides, his spine seems to have no place in Congress.

Not really Campbell was a Environmental lawyer put up as a stalking horse. To be honest the name Gif Neilson former Oiler QB and local sportscaster has been bandied about. Anybody but Lampson. I'm not used to this mudslinging but when I see a wrong I have to say something.

Not really Campbell was a Environmental lawyer put up as a stalking horse. Misleading.
Campbell is an environmental defense lawyer who has represented industrial clients.
And you have the nerve to say *I* provide propoganda?
