Now for the (un)surprise - that I haven't seen mentioned. 20 Egyptian Students applied for the program. 3 had visas denied and didn't get to JFK.

Hmmm. That number 20 makes me think of something, but I just can't identify... /sarc

Well, that's interesting. What do you have to do to get a visa denied? Have your picture on the net with a bomb strapped to your chest?

I wrote in the Egyptian students missing thread earlier in the day that:

the 6 are watchers (computer geeks etc), 11 are workers and there are a couple dudes (the brains of the operation) missing who were probably already here before these dudes arrived.

Yup, you and I are thinking the same.
