WASHINGTON Eleven Egyptian students who arrived in the United States last month are being sought by authorities after failing to turn up for an exchange program at Montana State University.
The Egyptian men were among a group of 17 students who arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York from Cairo on July 29 with valid visas, according to U.S. authorities and university officials.
The other six have arrived at the Bozeman, Mont., campus for a monthlong program on English language instruction and U.S. history and culture, university spokeswoman Cathy Conover said.
When the 11 didnt turn up by the end of the last week, the FBI issued a lookout to state and local law enforcement, said FBI Special Agent Richard Kolko.
"At this point all they have done is not show up for a scheduled academic program," Kolko said. "There is no threat associated with these men."
"Will these 11 people be involved in the next attack?"
And if they are, or even 1 of them is, will THAT be enough to motivate the gov't to stop letting Muslims into our country?
This should have stopped on 9/12/01, and every single foreign Muslim here on a temp visa should have been deported. If they were in college, give them a tuition refund.
But NOOOOOOOO, it's a religion of peace, doncha know!
34 days 'til 9-11-2006.
For that stupid and dangerous statement, FBI Special Agent Richard (Koo Koo) Kolko should be frog-marched out to the dusty yard where his peers are lined up.
His epaulets, sash and buttons should be yanked off. He should be slapped upside the face with his own glove. His superior should take his sword and break it in half over his knee.
Then, after Koo Koo's washroom key is confiscated, he should be marched out of the yard to the doleful tattoo of a drum, never to be seen in the corps again.

Bwahahahahahahaha! You obviously have our government confused with one that's interested in combatting terrorism.
The correct phrasing whould be "young ARAB men"
I would argue that we never learned the lesson. If we had then these people would never have been allowed into the country..
Good point.
Her student before that was from another of those 'stans', Kyrkystan or Kazakstan, I believe.
My sister is uneasy with this new student. She doesn't know why-she just is.
Instincts often tend to be correct.
There are unconsious signals people and situations put out which one processes and reads at a gut level. We ignore our warning instincts at our peril. These can be wrong, but surprisingly are often right. When alarm bells are going off in your head for some unknown reason, don't ignore them.
Time to strip search some 70 YO white grandmothers.
Hard to blame her for her case of nerves...
I agree and that's what I told her, trust her instincts. She'll keep an eye out about her that's for sure.
It'll be interesting to see if she lasts the entire 10 months here.
Somebody please tell me why we allow even one Muslim into this country. How many 9/11's are we going to allow before we get our heads out of the sand? Good grief!
Absolutely. Their mug shots should be everywhere. It should be priority #1.
Is that right? What percentage of students on Internatinal Student Visa's don't show up? I was unaware such a high percent just disappeared.
Tammy Bruce, subbing for Laura, is going to cover this next. Great time to call in and voice our concerns.
This finally made the Boston MSM today. Reported on TV as "Egyptian students," rather than as "Muslim students." Don't know why anyone would be concerned about 11 missing Coptic Egyptians.
Somebody on Talk Radio asked why the alarm is out and they haven't shown mug shots or even asked the public to help find them. It's just public safety departments involved.
Is there any more news about them?
I figure Boston would be a place they could go and blend right in with all the other foreign students. They're probably hanging out at the Armani Cafe on Newbury Street.
