WASHINGTON Eleven Egyptian students who arrived in the United States last month are being sought by authorities after failing to turn up for an exchange program at Montana State University.
The Egyptian men were among a group of 17 students who arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York from Cairo on July 29 with valid visas, according to U.S. authorities and university officials.
The other six have arrived at the Bozeman, Mont., campus for a monthlong program on English language instruction and U.S. history and culture, university spokeswoman Cathy Conover said.
When the 11 didnt turn up by the end of the last week, the FBI issued a lookout to state and local law enforcement, said FBI Special Agent Richard Kolko.
"At this point all they have done is not show up for a scheduled academic program," Kolko said. "There is no threat associated with these men."
Why have so many people forgotten the lessons of 9/11?
Not to worry, we will be hearing from them eventually.

Check the empire state building QUICK!
If we'd forgotten 9/11, nobody would have even noticed these eleven disappeared. Let's hope and pray we find these suckers ASAP!
Will these 11 people be involved in the next attack?
Nice, they skip out on a month long seminar, and we should not be concerned. Why, did they say they were not a threat when they submitted their random Muhammid names?
No, of course not. There's no correlation between "young Egyptian men" and "terrorist attacks," none at all.
Nothing to see here, everyone move along ...
Has anyone looked in Dearbornistan yet?
Suckers? Me thinks we are the suckers.
Yeah.....don't worry....I heard the parents say their sons are not involved in terrorism...and are all good boys.
Can't we suspend "exchange student" programs with countries whose citizens are a threat to us?
This should surprise no one. Are these Egyptians terrorists? Probably not. But they undoubtedly are now illegal aliens. They were delighted to receive exchange student visas so they could enter the US and simply disappear, never to return to Egypt.
The scandal that is the "exchange visitor" system is outrageous. Each year the US government issues hundreds of thousands of these visas. And each year a shockingly high percentage of visa holders from third world countries like Egypt fail to report to their academic institutions in the US -- and simply disappear.
I say it's time to halt the exchange visitor program in third world countries unless and until we can vastly improve enforcement of the rules.
Easy. Just activate their homing beacons.
Why have so many people forgotten the lessons of 9/11?
This is AMERICA, the land of A.D.D.
The only way they will REMEMBER 9/11 is it was part of a "reality survival contest" and has a winner at the end.
Maybe this Egyptian sleeper cell will at least have to wait until Hillary is president before they can make their move.
Well heck yes, we need several dozen more young Egyptian males in this country.
/ dripping sarcasm
This is just an immigration program in disguise.
IF they are, we won't hear about it for awhile.
The best explosives experts the fazools have come from... Egypt. I'd like to know their average age... I bet none of them are under 23.
I'm not familiar with the Visa system here, but I'm assuming that the government would have photos on file of these so-called students. If so, why haven't we seen any of them? It would seem to me that if you want to find someone, you'd plaster their pictures all over TV.
Hmmmm. My guess they're in Nevada... Hmmmmmm... more specifically, Mustang Ranch....
