Mourners carry the coffins of Israeli Arabs Hanna Hamam, 62, and Ladida Mazzawi, 67, who were killed Sunday night in a Hezbollah rocket attack, during their funeral in the city of Haifa, northern Israel, Monday, Aug. 7, 2006. Hezbollah fired its deadliest rocket barrage Sunday on Israel, killing 12 Israeli reservists and three civilians. That brought the Israeli death toll to 94, including 46 soldiers, the 12 reservists and 36 civilians.

It sure looks like her doesn't it. A poster on another thread brought it to everyone attention. I think the photos were taken on July 20 something, August 1st and August 4.

I wonder if she is the only person in that section of the city.

I'm glad you're here although over there.

I'll be home for over three weeks in less than a month!

I'll take any opportunity I can to say that. :-)

I did not stay up to see it, but checked back on the thread. They said close but no cigar. It wasn't his nose.

I am feeling upset about the kitty too. All the innocent kitties. Just trying to live their kitty lives, free to chase mice, get fleas, scratch people, yowl all night.

My personal kitties have been distraught all morning. One is lying in the sun, his eyes are closed and he looks just overcome. He is thinking of becoming antiwar but he has to nap first.

I didn't stay up either - but I think the poster that said it wasn't his nose referred to someone with a beard and glasses..

I have ghetto-cats, donated by a slumlord who's house I was remodelling, left behind after a tenant's hasty departure.

You can take the cat out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the cat. They make their own rulez. They are quicker, smarter, and able to plot while I am sleeping.

I have a water pistol, and we have arrived at a stalemate. Don't even have to re-fill it anymopre, just draw down and line up on them and they scatter.

The cat in the pic only used up two of his nine lives, and will dine out on his wounds for the forseeable future. Chix dig scars.

Hope he's not a Hezbo-cat, because if he's out carousing after 10 PM, IAF's gonna wax him.

Was the curfew designed to use night vision instruments? (I'm catching up.)

For some reason, your post made me flash on puffer fish.

I suspect the cats would resemble those if they ever saw a Burmese uncoiling in the same room. Same for me, my brother had a 14 footer and it was STRONG.

Bookmarked for future reference, thanks for the offer.

Well, they specifically referred to "any vehicle moveing", which immediately made me think of something other than NVGs, public speculation not necessary.

I don't know if IAF is all weather capable or not, I didn't seen anything along those lines when looking up the TOE.

They are running night raids, but we don't get any open source BDA, hard to tell how effective they are, although the launcher 50 meters from the "Qana massacre" seems to have been serviced accurately.

Right now, he's working with Teheran cause it's easy for him. I do think that if he thinks its in his best interest, he'll roll, but I doubt if he will do it by himself...and Iran is acting like there's no way they are ready. There's not enough oomph in the Shiite world to make this happen yet.

Now if the Sunnis come aboard, that would be a different kettle of fish. But Jordan's not interested, Egypt is laying low for the most part, and Saudi doesn't want to go there as of this morning.

There are radical groups in all of those countries, though, who wouldn't mind it a bit. If, like was suggested today, that this is a campaign against the greater Islam, something might change, but I don't think the Arab leaders themselves are buying that one.

Staying on high alert in Syria helps take people's minds off their miseries and focus them on a perceived enemy, so Assad has nothing to lose by doing that. In fact, its probably handy for him.

IMHO, of course.

Your opinion, perhaps, but it makes perfect sense.
