For some reason, your post made me flash on puffer fish.
I suspect the cats would resemble those if they ever saw a Burmese uncoiling in the same room. Same for me, my brother had a 14 footer and it was STRONG.

A very tiny friend of mine (she wears size 0) once had a python. At that time she also had a husband who was a cop. He came home for lunch and found her blue in color completely wrapped up by her "pet". He cut the head off the snake and performed CPR on her to bring her back to the world. He'd gotten home just in time. No pets big enough to kill/eat me ever.
