Sinkspur= Sourpusss. Has anyone else ever noticed ole sink sneaks out for Christian bashing posts alot. Or maybe I am just not letting him have his fun without pointing out he is not always funny.
WEll I know it isn't Phil Hartman....
Damn the SNL list of dead people is kinda long....
Farley, that's the clod.
Sam Kinnison I thought was funny.
Still remember.
"I shoulda shot you in 'Nam"
He pretty much bashes anybody and everybody; and from the tone of your nasty post, I'd bet my house he has gotten the better of you more than once.
Or maybe I am just not letting him have his fun without pointing out he is not always funny.
Are you taking a poll? I think he's damn funny. I really love it when he smokes out trolls like you.
Jesus is not a baby. It's fine for small children to pray to the baby Jesus, but adults?
Interesting that the first post I ever see from you is one trashing me.
Is this representative of your usual contribution to the forum?
Ole Howlin is baaaccckkk. I am no troll. I just noted a pattern. He may think he is sarcasm is funny but it is not. He seems like a grumpy ole man.
I believe the reference was to Sam Kinnison.
What are you? A grumpy young man?
Here's some advice: if you don't like my posts, don't read them.
But, if you talk about me, please don't gossip like a shrew, but ping me so I can defend myself.
How well would a movie spoofing goat-humpin' nomads be received, he wondered aloud.
Well naturally a NASCAR movie would be racist.
When's the last time you saw a white, Southern, Christian male NOT portrayed badly? They're almost always either morons or sadistic SOB's.
Hah. Where I grew up, waiting on the porch for days at a time to catch a glimpse of NASCAR cars being towed from one of the races to the next one in the series was the highlight of the year for about half the town. Some families put more effort into that annual ritual than wedding receptions or Christmas.
If this movie "ridicules Southern white men", my only response is that takes so little imagination to do so.
Yeah, Christians can handle being made fun of but most cannot stand to see their Savior being blasphemed. Therefore this film will not get a penny from me.
After Elf, you'd have to pay me to see another Ferrell movie.
I mean, a lot.
Okay, a significant amount, say fifty bucks.
Sheeesh. It looks like a dumb slapstick farce to me. Maybe offensive to some. But c'mon, it's hardly the 'Da Vinci Code' all over again. By definition, this kind of movie makes fun of exaggerated stereotypes.
I seen it, thought some of it was funny. I went in knowing it was a spoof on the NASCAR folks and fans. White southern conservatives have been and always will be targets. Best we can do is keep voting in conservatives that push those values and watch the libs in hollyweird go nuts.
