Perhaps this "bible" should be reprinted so the "kinists" can use it.

..................
A project of Alfred Rosenberg and his Reich Church project, essentially a pagan affair, with a new Bible, a new Cross, and some Christian trappings and terminology. New holidays too, 13 if I recall, Christmas went back to a yule thing as I recall.
Alfred was hung at Nuremberg for his troubles.
* The National Reich Church is determined to exterminate irrevocably and by every means the strange and foreign Christian faiths imported into Germany in the ill-omened year 800.
* The National Reich Church has no scribes, pastors, chaplains or priests; but National Reich orators are to speak in them.
* The National Reich Church irrevocably strives for complete union with the state. It must obey the state as one of its servants. As such, it demands that all landed possessions of all churches and religious denominations be handed over to the state.
* The National Reich Church demands immediate cessation of the publishing and dissemination of the Bible in Germany as well as the publication of Sunday papers, pamphlets, publications and books of a religious nature.
* The National Reich Church has to take severe measures in order to prevent the Bible and other christian publications being imported into Germany.
* The National Reich Church declares that to it, and therefore to the German nation, it has been decided that the Fuhrer's "Mein Kampf" is the greatest of all documents. It is conscious that this book contains and embodies the purest and truest ethics for the present and future life of our nation.
* The National Reich Church will clear away from its altars all crucifixes, Bibles and pictures of Saints.
* On the altars there must be nothing but "Mein Kampf", which is to the German nation and therefore to God the most sacred book, and to the left of the altar a sword.
* The National Reich Church does not acknowledge forgiveness of sins. It represents the standpoint which it will always proclaim that a sin once committed will be ruthlessly punished by the honorable and indestructible laws of nature and punishment will follow during the sinner's lifetime.
* The National Reich Church repudiates the christening of German children, particularly the christening with water and the Holy Ghost.
Editing Jews out of the OT would be like editing the curse words out of Deadwood. You end up with the closing credits.
No joke.
Sounds a bit like the Episopal Church.
Not to mention whomever was getting rid of "Patriarcal" language in favor of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" or whatever they were saying.
This effort is really good evidence that being anti-semetic is anti-Christian.
Hitler's Cross, by Erwin W. Lutzer
Was this "found" in the same place as the Hitler Diaries?
And a bit like Thomas Jefferson who literally cut and pasted any references to the Deity of Christ and His miracles out of the Gospels.
I would say that most of the New Testament was either re-written or scrubbed all together. I wonder how they explained Jesus away? What about the disciples, with the exception of Luke (gentile), the rest were Jews.
Wonder what those who go about screaming "Hitler was a Christian" have to say about this?
Sounds like today's dimocRAT mantra.
I dont' know Stevio. Perhaps a better question would be how many do not? It seems their main goals are to rewrite truth into fiction.
It seems that the "ongoing revelation" fans can trace their roots through the Reich.....whodathunkit!
"Jesus Christ, King of the ****"
Well, Hitler's precedent of rewriting is quite popular with his political decendents on the Left in this country.
Sounds like how the commie National Council of Churches has tired to do with their versions of the Bible.
Also sounds a lot like Unitarians to me.
Well there goes all this garbage about Hitler's Pope.
How sad.
I did not know that about Jefferson. Is this recorded somewhere, so I can confirm it? (I don't doubt you; I just would not want to repeat that without solid confirmation, and I would repeat it as I don't like Jefferson.)
Jefferson did his own version of the Bible, too. A little scary to me, that one.
