What are they putting in the water over at CNN? These people are sick. They're worse than Neville Chamberlains.

Following the moral equivalence path down the other side, Hezbollah could target Israeli military bases instead of civilian areas but they do not. Could it be that they just want to kill Israeli civilians?

Rush was just playing some (male) dope's comments along the same line, that Israel is deliberately allowing some of the rocket launchers to stay in place for PR purposes. Amazing.

LMAO, what a moron!! What are they suppose to do, will them out of the sky?? Get real you idiot. From what I understand the Patriots are ineffective against small rockets and only usuable against missiles. Once again, CNN proves itself to be Al Jazeera lite.

Okay, a pattern is developing here. This is the second time today that I seen a lamestream media type peddle this ludicrous and looney notion. I don't recall seeing it before today. And this positively reeks of yet another Islamofascist-inspired conspiracy theory, on a par with the claim that the Jews and the United States were actually behind 9/11.

It's one thing to shoot down a rocket with a high trajectory and a long time in flight. It's another thing to shoot down something traveling at the speed of sound traveling only 25 miles. I could step out of the way of a sharp shooter trying to shoot me from a mile away. I couldn't do it if he was 20 paces away.

I guess Tom Ricks from the WaPost isn't the only one thinking this.

By the way, this shows what idiots news anchors are that they don't get the difference between rockets and missiles. Rockets cannot be currently shot down with existing anti-missile defenses. What fools.

So it's Israel's fault that these wild rockets (with no guidance system) are being allowed to hit? Where do they find these idiots for CNN?

CNN is terrorism's mouthpiece. They should be considered legitimate targets.

Those darned Israeli's are responsible everything.

Kind of reminds me of the way my son argues. When I ask him why he pours Kool-Aid on the carpet he tells me that it was my fault for not stopping him.

OK, someone save this quote.

Isn't this one of the same idiot talking heads that was saying that missile defense was impossible and that the program should be cut?

Must be the new lib talking point:

Tom Ricks, you've covered a number of military conflicts, including Iraq, as I just mentioned. Is civilian casualties increasingly going to be a major media issue? In conflicts where you don't have two standing armies shooting at each other?
THOMAS RICKS, REPORTER, "THE WASHINGTON POST": I think it will be. But I think civilian casualties are also part of the battlefield play for both sides here. One of the things that is going on, according to some military analysts, is that Israel purposely has left pockets of Hezbollah rockets in Lebanon, because as long as they're being rocketed, they can continue to have a sort of moral equivalency in their operations in Lebanon.

KURTZ: Hold on, you're suggesting that Israel has deliberately allowed Hezbollah to retain some of it's fire power, essentially for PR purposes, because having Israeli civilians killed helps them in the public relations war here?

RICKS: Yes, that's what military analysts have told me.

KURTZ: That's an extraordinary testament to the notion that having people on your own side killed actually works to your benefit in that nobody wants to see your own citizens killed but it works to your benefit in terms of the battle of perceptions here.

RICKS: Exactly. It helps you with the moral high ground problem, because you know your operations in Lebanon are going to be killing civilians as well

Oh, and Ms. Church? Israel doesn't have that capability. Neither does the US. Why? Because idiots like you got the funding for missile defense cut back in the 90s to fund things like "midnight basketball leagues" and such.

Israel and the US would have tactical missile defense systems in the field NOW if it weren't for you and people like you.
