Massacre In Israel - Lebanon Hezbollah Rockets Murder 14

Israel News Agency
Tel Aviv----August 6......Hezbollah terror Katusha rockets continued to rain down on Israel civilians, murdering 14 this afternoon in Kfar Giladi.
"It was a direct hit on a crowd of people," Dan Ronen, the chief of the Israel northern police command, told Israel Army Radio. Convoys of police and rescue vehicles raced to the scene of the massacre. "This was the most difficult thing I could have imagined in my career. There are nine bodies here covered in blankets, around us cars are going up in flames," Army Radio reporter reported as she choked back tears. "On one side is the cemetery, on the other side are the nine young bodies waiting for burial."
Israel's equivalent to the Red Cross - Magan David Adom stated that many others were seriously wounded as the rocket from Lebanon slammed into a meeting area between Kfar Giladi and Tel-Hai in the upper Galilee on the Israel Lebanon border.
Witnesses near Kiryat Shomena, which has been hardest hit in recent days, said that Katusha attack from Lebanon was going on more than 15 minutes after it had begun. Witnesses stated that this had hampered emergency services from reaching the scene.
One Israel emergency rescue service reported at least two rockets directly hit homes. Katusha rockets also landed in Nahariya and Karmiel, Rosh Pina and Safed.
On Sunday morning, At least seven rockets were fired at northern Israel on Sunday morning, causing no injuries or damage. Two rockets struck the Golan Heights, three landed near the village of Ma'alot, and two fell in an open area in the city of Safed.
This latest barrage of rockets follows a weekend in which three people were killed when a rocket scored a direct hit at their home in a western Galilee Arab-Israeli town. The three were a 60-year-old woman and her two daughters, both in their 30s. They were all in the same room at the time of the strike. They were later identified as Fadya Juma, 60, and her daughters Samira, 33, and Sultana, 31. Some 170 rockets landed in Israel throughout Saturday, with 120-130 of those falling in one hour in the late afternoon.
Over 100 Israelis have been murdered, including 44 members of the military and 30 civilians, according to authorities. Among the latest deaths are three Israel Arabs killed by Hezbollah's rockets in the villages of Mughar, Majdel Krum and Dir el-Assad. Three Israeli soldiers were killed in fighting with Hezbollah.
The US based monitoring group Human Rights Watch (HRW) Humanitarian organization has called on Hezbollah to immediately stop launching rockets into civilian areas within Israel, saying their actions constitute "war crimes." The rights watchdog said Hezbollah's assertions that it is targeting military bases within Israel are offset by the fact that most attacks have been aimed at schools, hospitals and businesses.
Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, said: "Lobbing rockets from Lebanon blindly into Israel civilian areas is without doubt a war crime. Nothing can justify this assault on the most fundamental standards for sparing civilians the hazards of war."
Ma'ayan Levy, a witness to the Katusha rocket attacks on Israel civilians by Lebanon Hezbollah at Kibbutz Kfar Giladi stated: "We did not start this war, Israel is defending herself from unprovoked Islamic terror cross-border attacks." Levy added: "When Israel hears of civilians dying in Lebanon our hearts are saddened, when children die, we as mothers and as Israelis cry, but when Hezbollah murders our civilians and children Hezbollah, Syria and Iran celebrate. How does one fight an enemy as barbaric as this?"
It's only Jooos. Nothing to see here....move along...
"My suggestion to the IDF is captured missiles should be returned to where they were constructed."
OK!
And yet it seems as if Olmert has still not given the IDF ground forces license to go deep enough into Lebanon to clean out most of the short range rocket launchers.
What ever happened at the latest cabinet meeting? Are the Israeli's going to do what needs to be done and march to the Litani River? Without the ability to seize a significant security zone, there is simply no way the IDF can stop these rocket attacks.
It strikes me that Olmert has led quite badly through this war so far.
That may be the only real service the lamestream media is performing, a cease fire would only give the Islamofascists time to reload. If they're too freaking arrogant to agree to a cease fire, then Israel gets to keep bombing the Shiite out of them.
I just hope some other Islammunist power has the stones to get involved here, its long overdue for an Arab capital to be in a smoking ruin from an Israeli nuclear bomb.
You may have TV impatience. A systematic disarming may take a while.
You sure it was 14? Did they photoshop then into the image?
I was blown away at that headline. Of course then I saw the "Israel News Agency". You'd never NEVER see a headline like that from AP, Reuters, et al.
Families must be notified before final numbers are released to the media. I pray it is less than 14 :<
The sooner the better... nothing will be settled by another faux-peace.
Nothing to see here, move along . . .
Oh, I forgot... </sarcasm>
They have no idea that islam would only be emboldened and the attacks on the rest of the world increased. islam must be destroyed. it's adherents either reeducated or killed.
Maybe the Israelis need to hire the Green Helmet Guy. Then they might get some good pictures the Western Press will finally run in outrage about the Israeli civilian casualties?
Either way, is there any anti-missile missile system available that Israel can deploy to help stop the incoming Hezzie rockets? A few weeks ago, I saw a demonstration film put out by an Israeli manufacturer showing such a system. If not yet ready for operation, can the US ship any military hardware over in the meanwhile to minimize the threat?
Who does this list believe are the best official Israeli spokespeople? Who are the worst? We only get CNN International here in Israel. We also get the international editions of SKY, FOX and BBC - but please don't speak about BBC - it been a depressing day as it is.
This is from the BBC. But it pretty much glosses over the deaths.

I would think these would slow things down a little ( if the US gave Israel a few dozen or so in the newest "shipment".....).

Our liberal dominated press will not give fair coverage to this story. They are not ethical in their balance and continue to move across the dividing line where they become supporters of our enemies. Journalists used to consider themselves to be seekers of truth and to have a responsibility to the public to offer all the facts and varied points of opinion. But when the media is so dominated by one political viewpoint, they betray that mission and lose credibility.
