Welcome to the "Checklist for Change" website!
As the nine Democratic women in the U.S. Senate, my colleagues and I believe that it is time for a change in Washington: change in agenda, change in tone, and change in direction. That's what our "checklist for change" is all about. This is what we women do - we need our checklists. And we challenge Majority Leader Bill Frist to make the issues on our checklist priorities for the American people this year. This is by no means a complete list of priorities, but these are challenges that Congress can meet right now.
It's time for a new direction. I invite you to join our effort for change and co-sign the letter. And I encourage you to explore this website and all of the extraordinary work of my colleagues.
Each of us can make a difference, but together we can make change.

You know, I really couldn't care less. Maggie Thatcher was no looker, but she was "Ronald Reagan in heels." She is a great defender of freedom and liberty. I'd take her leadership any day.

She was no looker - but her beauty was evident. These folks haven't got a leg to stand on.
That info was from her 'accomplishments'. Domestic drilling definitely yes. Stabenow is worthless just as Carl Levin, Granholm, Conyers, and the mom son team of Kilpatrick. One job has been lost under Guv Granholm every 10 minutes under her reign. Michigan has the worst job creation stats in the states (outside of Louisiana and Mississippi due to Katrina). Michigans unemployment rate is double the national average. Michigan is # 2 in U-haul rentals of people leaving the state. (Arizona is #1 but those rentals are within the state.) More Michigan jobs have been lost to surrounding states than overseas. Shall I go on.....
