yes.
and the sad thing is, application of a few secondary filters on a hugely oversized working image, with a final resize, will hide almost all telltales of photomanipulation.

It's a different photographer but looks suspicious, maybe my tinfoil hat is on too tight.

with a final resize, will hide almost all telltales of photomanipulation.I depend on that fact to keep the pets and relatives happy with their pictures. OTOH, I''m not selling or publishing them either.
The only shots I ever sold or entered in contests have been printed directly from 35mm negatives by a professional photography shop.
I won't submit a digital image, nor enter a conest that allows them...almost non-existent nowadays. Too much room for fraud, rather than skill.

Re your Post #420... I think you're onto another forged photo here. The guy walking in the foreground - something just doesn't look right.

...has he never heard of working at 1000x, then doing serial soften, despeckle, and median-cut filtrations before resizing the image down to final dimensions?
Yeah, what you said!
(uh, what did you say...?)

I took your photo and overlayed Hajj's photo from the same area so that it is easier to see what has been photoshopped.

There are indeed extra buildings.
This age of digital imaging is going to make it damned near impossible to put any trust in the newz media, or anyone, for that matter. Reputable newz services should demand non-digital imaging for their reporting.
