Ok, I hope he loses now.
Thanks for showing your true colors Joe. Your replacement at least will be consistent.

"Rumsfeld serves at the pleasure of the President. But, I can tell you this, if I were President, I would say "Thank you, but we need some new leadership at the Pentagon." Total crap. Lieberman has no idea what he'd do because HE ISN'T THE PRESIDENT. Geeze, another RAT shows a broad yellow streak.
Mr. Lieberman, if you can't stick to your principles any firmer than that, perhaps you really aren't qualified to be a US Senator.
Disgusted pandering ping.

Under stress Joe, like many Liberals, panics and reverts to the I'll do or say anything to win mindset. He's done this before and it didn't work out. It won't this time, either. Dems on the A list will never call him. He's doomed to join Kerry as a non-person.

Well, I liked him a little bit before this.
Not any more. What a worm.

"Rummy Must Resign" is the new weekly Dim slogan which can be effectively parroted by Dimwits everywhere.
If they repeat it enough, maybe they can get a couple of RINOs to take it into caucus.
As Rushie said yesterday. Why should Rummie Resign? he hasn't been having sex in his office, he hasn't raped anyone, he has perjured himself before a grand jury, he hasn't taken Chinese campaign money from the Chinese government and he hasn't sold any strategic technology to China, hasn't rented out his office for over night stays to millionaires to raise money, and hasn't assassinated the Commerce Secretary. Why should Rummy resign??

From the article:
"...most political analysts blame Lieberman's loss of support on his pro-Iraq war position."
I attribute it to the large number of Jew haters on the Left...

This is a big disappointment.. I kind of liked Joe Lieberman as a voice of reason among the dems. (Sometimes). "A dog returns to its own vomit" and "A sow that is washed goes back to its wallowing in the mud."

"I approve of what you are doing, but not the people you have doing it."
This was probably a topic much better left untouched by St. Joe. Donald Rumsfeld is NOT going to resign anytime soon, and in fact, there are very few individuals in these entire United States who could capably substitute for him.
Donald Rumsfeld is no Robert S. McNamara. Mr. Rumsfeld is MUCH better.
Thank the Lord.

The one unceremoniously ejected from public office will of course be the dear senator.

It's time, Joe, don't you think? None of it makes sense and you're confused. Go ahead, the pain will stop.

Thank God that President Bush is not like Joe Lieberman.

Lieberman says, "Rumsfield must resign."
Lieberman means, "Vote for me, not for the nutcase Lamont."
Ahhh, the language of politics.

Liberman lost his honor and soul when he ran as Gore's V.P. He stood by and allow the military votes to be thrown out and he will do the same to Israel if it meant retainig his senate seat. Zell Miller was the only Democrat who refused to sell his soul and got out.
Sad but true.
The deal with the military votes was his lowest point, even lower than this, but I'd thought it was an aberration.
I'd LIKE there to be non-moonbat Democrats, and up till now, Lieberman's taken less cheapshots at Rumsfeld than McCain has.
Unfortunately, you're right--- you can't lose what you don't have. Socrates may have been right that honor existed even in a gang of thieves--- but then he never met a Democrat.

Sen. Joseph Lieberman joined his supporter New York Senator Hillary Clinton in calling on Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to resign. A mindset of wishy washy politics over sovereign concerns is a losing proposition.
so far....
