Yeah, this is kind of goofy. I assume he means for recreational purposes? Well, drinkin' a little on the weekend followed by not driving can't be bad. And I'd be hard-pressed to figure out why use of marijuana in the same way is *morally* wrong.
On the other hand, if you get drunk and wrap your car around a telephone pole, killing yourself and your date, or pick fights, then yeah, there's a problem. Same goes if you get too stoned to work and support your family.

This poll is ridiculous.
How can it be morally wrongs to take an aspirin or a prescription drug?
Is it morally wrong to have a sip of wine in a church service?

They forgot "Government kicking down doors to find a naturally growing plant is morally wrong."
I voted for the next best alternative.

No, Jake...Just immoral regarding your
responsibility to family and friends.
Forget about the immoral problem of
self depracation. But hey! When
you've hoisted a few too many, your
mind loses track of time and those
ugly responsibilities.
BTW, I know you're not REALLY a drunk, or
you wouldn't have responded in the first
place! <>g<>

Neither are morally wrong in and of themselves (although overuse and DUI are).

It would probably be inappropriate for me to express my opinion after posting the poll, but I can't honestly say that I disagree with you.

a prescription drug?
Ask Rush or any of the other millions who are or have been sadly addicted to DOCTOR prescribed medication. Their numbers FAR exceed the number of alcoholics and illegal drug users combined.

That is NOT what the poll asked. It just said "drugs" it doesn't say "abuse of drugs" or "Illegal drugs."
