WASHINGTON - D.C. Police say a Washington lawyer who was killed earlier this week in Northwest was the target of the attack.

Police Sergeant Brett Parson tells The Washington Post that the evidence investigators have found so far suggests that someone targeted 32-year-old Robert Wone when he was stabbed Wednesday night in the 1500 block of Swann Street.

Officers found Wone, who was the general counsel for the nonprofit Radio Free Asia, suffering from multiple stab wounds from a butcher knife inside the home.

No arrests have been made in the case and it remains under investigation.

Yes, those Asians, especially the commies and the Muslims, don't like the concept of freedom...and it is an understatement to say they are willing to kill to protect their dictatorships.

It is interesting to watch the political climate, especially in SouthEast Asia. I frequent Singapore on business, and noticed in the WSJ yesterday, their tightening of media information flow into their country. They are very worried about the simple fact they are surrounded by Muslims (Malaysia, Indonesia) and as history has it, they fought a war with Malaysia for their independence. If you are a resident or citizen of Singapore, you CANNOT have a TV sattelite dish. No, no. They do not want the population to see the real news of the world because they are worried about the fact they are such a tiny soverign country, infested with, and surrounded by Muslims. The country itself is a "polite dictatorship" fun by a single family, the family of the man who led the revolution that got them their freedom.

A very interesting history, a successful country, and a nice place to do business and visit.

I'm an old Goldhill Plaza/Ladyhill/McDermott hand, myself, from back when ASEAN was formed.

Chinese intelligence agents acting in the US are incredibly bold and blunt. They will go into an anti-Chinese government newspaper and bust it up, beat up and kill dissidents and Falun Gong living here, and are very straightforward about bribing politicians.

The spy who probably did this might not even bother to wipe off fingerprints, or conceal where he bought the knife.

Do they do that to pro-Taiwan newspapers in US or do they go after groups that oppose Communist rule in mainland China? Just curious, and it may explain why our government does not go after the agents.
