'It is Impossible to Destroy Hezbollah'
zaman ^ | 08.05.2006 | Foreign News Desk

Posted on 08/05/2006 7:19:41 AM PDT by Flavius

Israeli former Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben Ami believes the fight in Lebanon will not destroy Hezbollah and suggests Israel should seek the solution elsewhere.

“War is not the solution” Ben Ami said, disclosing that Israel’s disarming of Hezbollah and the destruction of the organization’s military capacity was impossible. He also said that Israel’s plan for a security zone in southern Lebanon would not prevent Hezbollah attacks.

Hezbollah can only be disarmed by a comprehensive agreement, Ben Ami noted in his statement to BBC: “Hezbollah and Israel have created such a bloodbath that it will not be easy to deal with. I hope we will all come to our senses soon and deal with our problems in a civilized manner.”

Ami also claimed that the Olmert administration had intensely focused on Hezbollah since the administration lacked an agenda after everybody realized the escalating tension in Gaza and the impossibility of a unilateral withdrawal from the West Bank. Emphasizing that Hezbollah was a political power in Lebanon and a part of an ethnic mosaic, Ben Ami claimed that disarming or destroying Hezbollah’s military capacity was impossible.

Ami said that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was not aware that Hezbollah’s long-range rockets might penetrate the buffer zone in the southern region. He added that a diplomatic effort could remove Hezbollah, but it was impossible with Hamas.

Ami continued: “Hamas is not a military organization nourished by the foreign sources like Iran and Syria, but it is a nationalist movement. It has a political target, which is to save Palestine.

Hezbollah, on the other hand, aims to destroy Israel and is armed by Iran. We are said to fight with Iran and Syria over Lebanon, which is not true. In fact, Iran and Syria started a war against Israel over Lebanon. Israel only responded to them in the same way.”

Thanks for your help Shlomo Murtha. [/sarc]

Well, I guess it is impossible to totally destroy Naziism as well. I mean there are still Nazis around aren't there?

The point is to cripple Hezballah until they are no longer a threat. If a few Hezbos want to get together in someone's basement once and a while and tell each other war stories, who cares? It is their ability to threaten Israel that must be destroyed, and that IS possible.

He's genius! Maybe a UN resolution could be passed, stating that Hezbollah would be disarmed. /sarcasm

Israel's John Murtha?
Using the hate-Isreal BBC to trash the Israeli military?

'Israel should seek the solution elsewhere. '

And that would be where? Maybe Jimmy Carter, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the UN? With a little help from Iran and NK, perhaps?

And don't forget to invite Murtha and Kerry along for the ride -

Attn: Foreign Minister Shlomo Ben Ami

Lord knows I'm no expert. But I suspect if you don't destroy the Huzzies they will destroy you.

Their well documented mission, which they blindly and vigorously pursue, is "destruction of the infidel" which would include both you and me.

What is your mission? I doubt it is anywhere near that drastic.

Kind regards,

upchuck

The solution that the Islamic Fascist seek is the destruction or conversion of all peoples of this world. There is no solution except for the destruction of the terrorist.

Is he saying that the fight with Hezbollah is misdirected?
"Iran and Syria started a war against Israel over Lebanon. Israel only responded to them in the same way.”

IOW don't stop with Hezbollah!?

Former Foreign Minister Shlomi Ben Ami, like his boss, then Prime Minister Ehud Barak, are responsible for the Lebanese Dunkirk fiasco. The loss of Israeli lives today is because they abandoned a security zone that worked well in keeping Hezbollah far away from the border. Even the 2 soldiers a week killed then could have had their lives saved if Israel had constructed parking lots in Hezbollahland. He strikes me as a colossal jewel of glittering ignorance. There can be no political solution to terrorism because Hezbollah wants nothing Israel can offer - unless Israel offers to commit national suicide. Israel has suffered enough from the Oslo folly. A repeat experience is the last thing the Jewish State needs today.

Very true.

This conflict has been going on for hundreds of years. Most folks are willing to live and let live. Unfortunately, the radical muzzies are not.

Therefore, in my brutal and totally un-politically correct opinion, the only way to end this once and for all is to destroy the radical muzzies and their infrastructure.

Just like you destroy an ant colony.

[ 'It is Impossible to Destroy Hezbollah' ]

Of course it is.. But you can make them hurt.. by destroying the infrastructure they have built up for several years.. it costs a lot of money and time to build infrastructure.. and take out their banks and kill a few of their chain of command too..

Damascus is a lot of infrastructure and a few close townships close to Damascus.. Damascus must be glowing RED right now on somebody's tactical map... Talk about wailing and gnashing of teeth.. clothing being ripped and dust thrown into the air.. Damascus is close to becoming a parking lot.. Could get Tehrans attention too..

The "Jews" already know that those missles could contain Serin.. easily.. and may before this is all over.. Waiting for the death camps <<- the Jews have already been through.. think about it..

Bingo,

“War is not the solution” Ben Ami said, disclosing that Israel’s disarming of Hezbollah and the destruction of the organization’s military capacity was impossible. He also said that Israel’s plan for a security zone in southern Lebanon would not prevent Hezbollah attacks.

It really frustrates me when people say that you can't get peace through killing. That is absolutely wrong. We nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki, fire bombed Tokyo and Dresden. We killed so many Germans and Japanese that they begged us to accept unconditional surrender. The Romans had endless trouble with Carthage until they invoked the ultimate solution. They threw the city into the sea, salted fields.

The only solution for the Western World in the face of Islamic Terrorism is to go Carthage on them. We throw their cities and Mosques into the sea and salt the fields. You can kill your way to peace, and ultimately save lives by doing it. We killed about 300,000 Japanese by nuking Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Had we invaded that number would have been around 3 million dead Japanese. We need TOTAL victory, in order to cleanse the misguided of the righteousness of their cause. It is the only way. In order for the Western world to avert the next holocaust, the next major world war that could leave 50-200 million people dead we need to indiscriminately kill about 3 million Arab Muslims. Nuke Mecca, Medina, Tehran, Damascus. That would just about do the trick.

You know, we have a real problem. Did you know that 70 million people live in Iran? 12 Million live in Tehran. Damascus hosts around 1.4 million Arabs. Medina is home to 1.5 Million. Mecca, is home to 6 million Arabs. It is time to use WWII as an example and eliminate the threat facing the western world. The alternative is to support the status quo, and in another decade or two have a world wide conflagration that could make WWII look like child's play. Did you know that pre war Germany only had around 60 million people? Look at the trouble they caused. Japan was about the same with 64 million.

It's not impossible to destroy the Hezbos, just difficult. The key is to kill them all, as they wish to do to the Jews.
