In a full page ad in Thursday's Variety, an entertainment industry trade paper, the actor says, "I, Rob Schneider, a 1/2 Jew, pledge from this day forward to never work with Mel Gibson, actor-director-producer and anti-Semite."
Comedic actor Rob Schneider denounced fellow actor Mel Gibson in a letter, saying that he would never work with the Academy Award winner.
"I, Rob Schneider, a 1/2 Jew, pledge from this day forward to never work with Mel Gibson, actor-director-producer and anti-Semite," said the letter, which bore Schneider's signature.
The declaration was published as a full page ad in Thursday's Variety, an entertainment industry trade paper, E! Online reported Friday.
The untold joke of the letter is that Schneider and Gibson have never worked together before, with Schneider making comedies like 'Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo' and Gibson making epics like 'Braveheart,' and 'The Passion of the Christ.'
Still, Schneider stopped any chance of collaboration with Gibson who reputedly railed against Jews during a drunken driving arrest July 28 in California.
..and can only take this at face value.
If he's joking....who knows.
Perhaps you do.
Which half?
This guy is an idiot. You cannot be 1/2 Jew. If your mother was Jewish, you are a Jew. If you convert or practice the faith, your are a Jew.

Total number of these movies I have seen: Zero
Yeah, what is a half Jew?
Do they only take half the skin off the sausage?
Is being 1/2 Jew anything like being 1/2 black?...
What Mel said was disappointing and deplorable, but this kind of self-righteous posturing is also pretty offputting. And I wonder how many of these Hollywood types have denounced the President of Iran for his advocacy of Jewish genocide?
That's right, he worked with
Sylvester Stallone! He might
someday have worked Mel . . .

this has nothing to do with this asshats ad ...
Click was a very, very good movie
the ads did not do it justice
Henry Hill: Just the good half.
Rob Schneider is... A Stapler!
And he's about to find out that being a stapler is harder than it looks.
Who is Rob Schneider?
The "makin' copies.." guy from Saturday Night Live (about a decade ago.) See the pic above. He's made movies since then but I haven't seen any of them.
Yeah! He was also in a music video about having beer goggles.
Dear monkapotamus,
I think I stopped watching SNL in about 1981?
The picture is helpful. I vaguely remember this individual in snippets of very bad movies that had made their way to television, and of which I've watched some minutes while waiting for worthier shows to return from commercial break.
sitetest
This idiot Schneider reminds me of a kid in junior high who would wear his underpants on the outside of his trousers just to get any kind of attention.
I've NEVER heard of this guy.Couldn't an outfit like Rogers and Cowan do a better job at P.R?By the way, which half of him is Jewish??
Does anyone really care what this hack has to say about Gibson? Schneider isn't good enough to act in anything Gibson would produce. Bathroom humor and raunchiness are Schneider's stock-in-trade. If he had any principles at all, he wouldn't debase himself by appearing in such tasteless movies.
Rob Schneider went on a USO tour to Iraq, and was pretty well received. Did one in Korea too. He also visits wounded soldiers at Walter Reed. Some may not like his movies, but from what I have heard, the troops he entertained thought he was great. Think of the demographics, the majority of the troops are male, and in the age group that appreciates his humor. He could be doing other things, like making more incredibly funny movies, but is one of the few actors that has taken the time to support the troops.
And no, I'm not his mother, just enjoy his movies, they aren't PC and make me laugh.
