BEIRUT, Lebanon - Israeli airstrikes flattened two southern Lebanese residences Friday and more than 50 people were buried in the rubble, security officials and the state news agency said. 
The number of dead was not immediately known. One attack flattened a building in Aita al-Shaab, a mile inside Lebanon, Lebanon's National News Agency reported. A large number of civilians were inside at the time, but the exact number was unknown, it said

    let me guess, hizbullah convinced civilians they'd be safe there, then mounted rocket launchers right next to both building and opened up.. 
 
these civilians ought to learn by now..large groups of people should stay OUT of the same building..it's automatially a target (after the launchers send off their rockets)..IMHO..

The latter are those who fall off their biers but jump right back on again. They can be counted multiple times in any such assessment...
