As always from VDH, an excellent piece.

"as if the problem of a Jew being murdered at the Los Angeles airport or a Seattle civic center arises from not protecting mosques, rather than protecting us from what sometimes goes on in mosques."

This pretty much sums up the thinking of our politicians and police in this country.............will there ever come a point where they admit that they have to protect American citizens, instead of the animals who try to kill us?.... Or will that task be left to the individual citizens?

Supreme court ruling have pretty much established that the police do not have to protect us.......so our own protection and preservation falls upon the individual citizen....we must protect ourselves, our families, and our homes.

VDH is one of the clearest and most far seeing of the chattering class, and I never fail to enjoy, or at least appreciate, his commentary.

His analysis is spot on. We are seeing two phenomenon. The first is as VDH sees the misplaced notion, however well intentioned, that violence is never the right response in any situation. Any right thinking person knows that the only proper response to a threat to life and limb is a violent reaction. Unless your religious conviction requires a pacifist response (which should disqualify someone from national leadership) your action to respond with adequate force to threat is injustice only to the aggressor, and is outweighed by the injustice done to those who will be the next victims of that same aggressor.

The other is pure politcal calculation. The vast majority of the politcal opposition and the MSM takes its stance not from a moral plane, they would have had similar responses had the situation landed in their laps-and have, but from the effort to reaquire power. Their efforts confuse and obfuscate the situation to the point where many people, from misplaced loyalty and other less principled beliefs, are forced into a moral relativism that demeans and weakens us as a nation and a civilization. They sicken and disgust me and I pray that their taint will not make a bad situation much, much worse.

As for the protection of police and politicians, most don't have much faith in them to begin with.

Unfortunately, they won't do a damned thing for us until the American stand up and say, "No more!" This multicultural, PC, feminization of our society will continue until we take back our society. I am not calling for armed revolution, I am calling for those of us who want this to happen to start inundating our congressional offices, our county commissioners' offices, and any other elected officials that we can reach out to with e-mails, letters, phone calls, etc. until they are forced to listen. These officials must also realize that they are elected and not appointed. I truly believe that there is a growing groundswell but it hasn't gained enough strength to break the surface. I hope that this wave crests before its too late.
