EIBHARMONY (Rush Limbaugh newest eHarmony Member (vanity)
08/03/06

Posted on 08/03/2006 10:04:52 PM PDT by goldstategop

This is strictly vanity. OK, been awhile on eHarmony and still looking for the love of my life. Then I find Rush Limbaugh has signed with them. Guess his fling with Donna Karyn wasn't a match made in heaven or you'd have heard more about it by now. It makes me wonder if he's really looking to get married again. We all know he met Marta online back in the 90s. Will it it be another trip to the altar? Fire away!

I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to think you have to troll for dates on the internet.

Sorry. That post came off a little snobbish, didn't it?
I didn't mean to sound critical or judgmental.
But I did mean that the concept of actively trying to meet strangers in the blind is utterly alien to me. I hope that people who do this are careful.

Regards,
LH

There seems to be a weekly FR Singles Thread:

You are forgiven.

Don't worrry. My dating experiences are not limited to dangerous blind internet liaisons... for safety's sake I mix it with regular forays to the local pick up bar where I can meet misunderstood married men, ex-cons, cokeheads and karaoke singers up close and personal.

You have some wonderful photos. The flowers are especially nice. Fortunately, I'm in the Hill Country... a very good place to see wildflowers.

I tried eharmony once, but apparently nobody believed I have a third eye in the back of my head.

I'd like to see Rush figure out why his first three trips to the altar ended in divorce before he takes another pledge of undying love.

Actually, they did.

anyone got a picture of Marta, or know why they split. I haven't listened to him much for years, but back when I did he seemed head over heels in love with this Marta woman he kept talking about.

My guess is that their relationship was destroyed by his Rx drug use.

Y'all aren't alone. I got the three for one deal a while back, filled out all the questions, answered everything honestly, and then sat there for three months watching nothing happen. All in all, it was a waste of time.

I have heard a lot of stories from conservative guys, especially firearms enthusiasts, who always get back the "sorry, we can't help you, no one out there for you" excuse, even after putting other different interests in the questionaire.

I did it for a year or so, but never got to first base. I know that I am a one in a million type, but Yahoo gets better results than eharmony which is too restricted in its matching.

The favorite one being, "I discovered she was a closet liberal after we got married. Now I filed for a divorce."

I do think they match like to like in incomes, whereas I think mix and match workds well.

Did he say anything like:

"I know women like every inch of my glorious naked body..."

The possibilities are endless...:)

Or why anyone would even want to be married to Rush. I love him for what he is, a great entertainer, but could not fathom being married to him for one second.

Not that I really NEED to know (or really CARE), but just curious, anyone got a picture of Marta, or know why they split. I haven't listened to him much for years, but back when I did he seemed head over heels in love with this Marta woman he kept talking about.

Maybe it could be related to his need for little blue pills.

If he wants to remain a bachelor, as long he's happy he should be one. Not every one is suited for marriage.

I agree. But he should have figured that out long before he said the "I do's" and pledged marriage and fidelity "until death do us part" for the 2nd or 3rd time. Makes me wonder whether he is as smart as he thinks he is.
