It's always seemed to me that conservatives tend to be able to admit the positive traits of leftists, but that the converse generally doesn't hold.
Unfortunately, JG tries to look bad on purpose these days as a way of showing feminist solidarity or scholarliness or some other such nonsensical idiocy.

I am a proud Conservative. I am an American, one who loves our country and what it stands for. I support our Military and their mission. Personal responsibility is a big issue with me. I have found that Liberals, Dems, Socialists, Marxists, etc. have a hard time with 'personal responsibility' and they just don't seem to have the love for America as I do. I am informed about Iraq and many other issues. Many years ago, I was a Democrat, leaning Liberal. I had to look for other sources because the MSM just wanted to put out their liberal agenda. Thanks, Free Republic, I have found a wealth of information here. Yep, once a dem/lib... but, then I grew up. Once I became informed, I realized that Conservatives had much more in common with me. Folks like you are so far to the left, I couldn't let myself be affiliated with the likes of you anymore. I am hardly "squeaky and unstable", far from it. That is what you and the MSM would like others to think.
You can say what you want, Garafalo. It is what our country is all about. And I can and will disagree with you.
