i love it that bubba is the most enthusiastic for her whitehouse run. Same dude that enthusiastically endorsed her as the lady to give us all heath care. :-) Guess she hasn't caught on yet.
I believe NOTHING would make Bubba happier than for her to lose a Whitehhouse bid.

This is an interesting theory. I wonder if Hillary has finally realized that a presidential run would be a cataclysmic embarrassment to her, and becoming Minority Leader puts her in the position of being the shadow President.

I can't imagine Bill "Dude, Where's My Legacy" Clinton running the risk that his wife might end up a more effective president than he was. (Not that she would be, but in Bill's mind, that's a risk he doesn't want to take.)

and is sizing up his office in the West Wing of a Democratic Administration. Like any true Democrat, he's focusing on curtain color and matching carpet.

Reports are that Senator Clinton herself knows this and that her own enthusiasm for running actually trails that of her husband, her advisors, and her staff -- whose enthusiasm for the race is ranked in that order with Hillary the least enthusiastic.Translation:
Hillary is finally recognizing what most everyone on her side has been trying to tell her for a long while, that internal polling consistently shows that she has no chance at the Presidency. So now they are trying to reposition her, with a laughable attempt to paint her as a George Washington-like humble leader not seeking the limelight and power.

Senators such as Senator Chuck Hagel, Arlen Specter, and Lindsay Graham have reportedly said that they would welcome Senator Clinton in such a role, albeit from the other side of the aisle.Four Senators mentioned in one sentence, only one of which has balls and a spine. Guess which three it aint.

HA!!!! Her internals (polls) must be very very very negative cause old Harry is her mouth piece. So we shall see if Harry presents the Hillry must 'sacrifice' her presidential aspiration to be the next MINORITY leader.

A guy in college said you should "always pick yer nose before you pick yer seat." The thought of Hillary picking her crusty black pants out of her butt is disgusting, isn't it?

Being a shadow president is better than hearing a never ending chorus of "BANG, BANG, VINCE!!!, SLURP, SLURP, MONICA!!!".

It's almost like the best weapon we have for the future may be to have Pelosi and Ms. Clinton lead us for a few years..... NO ONE WOULD EVER VOTE THAT PARTY FROM THEN ON OUT.....!

Agreed. If I had her past, I wouldn't run for president...But, then, I don't have her blood-sucking thirst for power. I often wondered how Bill could personally endure all the jokes and barbs flung his way, but I guess he figured that being able to ride around on Air Force One made it all worthwile.

In the manner of Don Corleone, Reid made Hillary an offer she can'r refuse.
She can't accept however because she in unable to articulate the business at hand. She can't speak to a microphone without pepared text.
