You need a lot of outside corroboration to trust what hardline Islamic sources say, but if they make specific threats, I am more inclined to believe them until proven otherwise, than I am to ignore them and find myself in a jam later on.

That's right, they never get it. Their rise to localized power exposes them to constant adulation and acquiescence, which predisposes them to believing that others, outside their sphere of power, will react the same way.
For this reason, I prefer to see threats neutralized early after proper identification, rather than waiting for provocative empirical evidence.
So it's not in closed session this afternoon? Should be interesting to see how he handles hillary.

My thoughts - News of Hizbullah's reannouncement of intent to hit TelAviv and Chinese govt telling everyone to get out of Isrel within all reported within an hours time span. That's an awfully fast turn around time for the Chinese govt don't you think, unless of course they knew something in advance. Or this could all be the Jack Daniels i had last night talking to me ;)

Yes. I make the distinction at 100 km, but that is arbitrary and subject to numerous variables, including simple probability.
