Wow. Talk about pouring money down a 'Rat hole....
What they do not report here at the Liberal Hill site is that the RNC will spend 70 Million on the same districts.
Both sides will spend more than this. The DCCC wants to put this out there because these expenditures mentioned here will not be coordinated with the individual campaigns, and they want to give their candidates enough time to react.
Most media there will give them extra bang for their buck with editorials and news coverage favorable to any librat.
blowing their wad. Waisting alot of $$. Looks good for Irey. Republicans will pick up 1 seat in the house. Get ready for all the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
What's the word on Irey's race? Any good polling?
I can't wait to see how the RATS screw this up.
Haven't seen any polling.
what they also don't report is that the lamestream media will give the dims another $200 million in ads they disguise as "newcasts"
WA-08 Dave Reichert 4 weeks, $1.49M
Darcy Burner and the 1.49M is going to be toast
before this campaign is over.

Don't dis Connecticut -- it has a RINO governor and 3/5 of its members of congress are RINOs. Compare that to Massachusetts, where 10/10 congresscritters are RATS.
If someone wants to have fun, build a spreadsheet that tracks the number of 'Democrats can win' stories that come out of those districts, and how many of those newspapers/television stations get money from the DNC.
Lived there for 25 years. My post was referring to them spending money in CT where liberal media is THE norm. They don't have to spend money in Mass.
I've heard these ads on the radio for at least a couple weeks now. For this open seat, they don't even mention the Dem. They only the Republican candidate by name and how he's a wealthy hotel and restaurant owner on the "wrong" side of the minimum wage issue.
Then, the ad gives a toll-free number, allegedly to "call him and tell him" he's wrong to oppose a minimum wage increase. What a sham. But, that's Democrats for you.
Spending success in CT will depend on how next week's primary turns out. If Lieberman runs as an independent, it could be a high turnout election that wouldn't necessarily favor any GOP canddiate except in the safest of Districts.
Can I assume CT is like so many other states where outside the big cities the counties are red ?
Not just CT but they are also wasting money in Vermont? Seriously? I'd be happier if they spent the entire $51M in Vermont. If a state will vote for a socialist, there is no amount of TV advertising which is going to turn it less blue.
Connecticut is town-based. For political purposes, it really doesn't have any counties at all. It has lots of small towns and a few larger towns/small cities. It has RINO-rich New York suburbs, three small rat-infested cities (Hartford-E. Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport), conservative small towns/outersuburbia and Willington, a mix of all of those. Generally, as Willington goes, so goes the state.
THanks for the info on CT ... at least its NYC 'burbs are GOP-leaning, if only RINO.
I hate to admit it, but I can hardly WAIT for Tuesday's primary! And can't figure out WHY ... I'm no big Lieberman fan after '00, but don't wanna see moveon.org and others succeed in ousting a guy because he supports Bush. Ah, the conflicts!
