You are right, the pilopt popped three flares just as he released the bombs, and is in the process of pulling Gs to get up and out. Don't suppose the Hezzies have shoulder fired SAMs?

I have seen alot of photos of helos and F16s shooting out flares....I imagine their warning lights are going off in the cockpit.

IMHO it will take a few generations of the Israelis and the arabs living together, getting to know and understand each other to reduce the problem. When that might happen, no one knows.

I think there are a remarkable number of Arabs who, while they can't speak it aloud, would have no trouble interacting with the Israelis. I think the actual start will be, believe it or not, Iraq and Iran.

They looks like the IDF equivalent of satchel charges, but them in a bag, and carry them to a bunker, fuse the det cord, pull the toggle and run like hell!

I was just going to say that Jennifer Griffin reported that Britain is going more towards France..re: getting ceasefire first..and then work out the details.

As opposed to the USA and Israel that want the details negotiated before a cease fire.
