An update; Sen. Cute as a Button finally got his amendment through, financing fencing along the Mexican border...

This is the amendment that was DEFEATED in the Homeland Security bill...but it passed in the Defense Appropriations Bill...at least until conference with the House...

I can't believe it wouldn't pass the House...unless the House members don't like it being in the DOD bill.

FWIW Medved has fmr Isr Amb Gold on, explained why a multi national force under chapter 7 would be a disaster for Israel. Good stuff.
