I caught that too.
I'm not an attorney either, but everything he said/asked sounded correct.
It struck me as obvious that he was prepped for this interview by somebody that knew civil law procedure.

LOL. Ollie and the former hostage ask if Alan just asked a question or made a statement.
Bill Buckley, former CIA station chief was tortured to death, and this former hostage heard it.
Ollie says that Reagan got the hostages home and that there's irrefutable proof between Iran and Hezbollah.
Allan asks how Jacobson was treated. Chained, denied every right that free people have, couldn't look outside, lousy food. Says it wasn't club med. Says some of the hostages, one a former Marine, escaped and they re-captured him and beat him and he had grand mall seizures as a result of that. Another hostage was given rat poison with high levels of arsenic in him. Put a bullet through the forehead of another hostage and friend of Jacobson.
Take that Allan - and think about it the next time you think panties on the head of some jihadist is "torture".
