CNN TV just had a reuters report that israeli troops have landed in the northern isareli city of balbeck.
IDF officialy has no comment.

I'm not sure if Israel wants this war contained. And from the public statements of our Administration, I don't think they want it contained either. It would seem we must be ready for war with Iran and Syria.
Don't think so. I recently read here that Syria was giving out the WMD's especially since this conflict with Israel started. Syria had originally kept all the nuke stuff. Syria was paid $30,000,000 from Saddamn to hide the WMD's.
Lets get it on. For us, war now is always less costly than war later.

Baalbeck is in eastern Lebanon northeast of Beirut. In the mid-1970s the city became a stronghold of Palestinian and Syrian forces, changing hands several times during Lebanon's 15-year civil war.
The Syrians' left hands are very busy.
The Syrians have a serious exposure problem - the US is deployed right behind them in Iraq.
It's interesting, I expect Israel will never have a better chance to pull this off, with Syria between a rock and a hard place.
Ya know....it all makes sense. What Rush mentioned....that there is more to this than we realize.
