There were many failings the courts and probation.
Sex criminals against children have to be treated as a special case where the normal rules of sentencing , rehabilitation and probation do not apply.

The Judges who set these animals free should be held accountable for the recidivism rate and subsequent deaths that result from them setting pedophiles free.
The judge who let him walk should be sitting next to him at trial for murder.

When the article mentions that he raped a 15 year old boy - I don't think they NEED to point that out. It's obvious.
If the article was about a man who raped a little girl - would they need to mention that he is a heterosexual?
