I know it's Debka and not a very reliable source, but it's very interesting to say the least! I guess we should take it with a gain of salt

If the Syrian military intervenes to aid Hezbollah, this may expand from being a purely limited engagement. Baby Assad is playing with fire.

They are not going to do a damn thing, because the IDF will kick their asses back to Damascus in a heartbeat!

....Syrian military intelligence agents detonated a bomb...
Syria is pretending to be involved when in fact at this late stage in the game, has been rendered harmless. Syria was passed over.

Israel always does much better against a standing army as opposed to a force that has no uniform or military and hides behind women and children.
Assad is asking for the mother-of-all ass-kickings.
To: bert
Too bad the IDF doesn't start following the trucks bringing rockets from Syria right back up the road.........ending at Asshat's front door. Might bring about a little faster cease-fire.

Not so, because the other Arab countries secretly want Iran/Syria neutered.

"Sarajevo - 1914"
Exactly.
However, if Assad and ImADinnerJacket play their cards right, it will end more like Hiroshima - 1945.

If this is true, it is only because of the almost pussy like response of Israel against hezbollah in the first 2 weeks of this conflict. Now, the islamofacist animals are embolden by what they see as a week Israel and strong terrorism. Israel should fire that PM they have now.

It is interesting, but with Debka's history, the grain of salt needs to be large enough to be seen from space! Interesting post though.

So, if Damascus would cease to exist, become a large glass parking lot, would the remaining land then become Israel?

the Syrian president put defense minister Gen. Hassan Turkemeni in charge of military assistance to Hizballah. He also instructed chief of staff Gen. Ali Habib to personally oversee Syrian-Iranian cooperation for military consignments to Hizballah.
After the 1973 defeat of Syria, at least two of the Syrian generals were dragged (already dead I think, but who knows) through the streets of Damascus by order of this dictator's dad.

While Debka's reputation means that anything from it should be taken with a bit of salt until proven otherwise, if this turns out to be true, then Assad Junior is about to put himself in line for a great big @ss-whipping.
