See how far up that airborne force is....it set's up a pincer move....to choke off the Syrians if they move into the area down around the Lebanon-Israeli border.
By placing that force in that area the Israelis have a force on the Syrians rear if they come in down in the Bent Jaibayal(sp) region.
So I'm thinking it's just a 'bang and boogie' exercise.

I take it there's no chance the Syrian or Lebanese army could mount an assault on troop positions, isolated as they are at Baalbek.
Syria would be very foolish to attack Israel and Israel would be very foolish to attack Syria for no reason.
I am SURE that the Israeli forces were SURE to tell the CNN reporterette that they are afraid...OF ANYTHING>..LOL
I have just concluded that CNN reporters make up stories..and all they have to do is allude to "some source"...
I think it is wishful thinking..and the question is, why is CNN so intent on Israel losing this war??
