My father Frank, who has really only lurked here but has walked the walk we espouse all his life, is now laying in a hospice facility in Winston-Salem, NC making peace with his life and preparing to pass on. He's not particularly religious but he believes that a God that was kind enough to provide him the riches of his life wouldn't be any less kind to him after his passsing. He's a tough old fella and he's fighting it with all the fight he can still muster.
He's the 10th generation of Hungarian family that migrated to America in the early 1900's. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He is a great father and friend. And his love for his wife Lee is rarely paralleled in modern life.
I've been a Freeper for a long time but I've never posted before. I post this request in the hopes that your prayers, thoughts, or "good vibes" will help him get where he's going a little easier - a little more comfortably.
He's a hell of a man - he deserves that.
Thank you for your best wishes & prayers,
