The President and first lady spent the weekend in Washington attending church and a tee ball on Sunday. The President then travelled to Miami later on Sunday to attend events today in that area.

Today the President attended a Breakfast with business leaders and then gave a speech at the U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command in Miami , and later met with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice at the White House

Harris' "suit" looks more like a lingerie ad than something a candidate for office would wear. (sigh)

Life after serving in the WH must be pretty dull.

I sympathise with that one my suits often ruck up and show either their lining or the petticoat under if an unlined skirt.

I never thought of using that word for it, dmd........but the President sort of has an 'eclectic' face. ;)

Your pot/heat/scum analogy is right on, Gretchen.

I too am confident that this particular struggle in the ME is going to end well.

Hi, Snugs!

Thanks for the ping and the DOSE!

I see Dubya got to meet his hero!

I remember reading about when President Bush was growing up he had dreams of being the next Willie Mays! :o)

Bet he's got an autographed baseball card from the "Say Hey" kid!

... can anyone see Clinton doing the same (unless he was sure the cameras were on)?

That reminds me of the old Phil Hartman sketch where he played Clinton stopping at a McDonald's and he kept stealing food from the customer's trays.

Secret Service Agent #1: Fine. But please don't tell Mrs. Clinton.

Bill Clinton: Jim, let me tell you something - there's gonna be a lot of things we don't tell Mrs. Clinton about. Fast food is the least of our worries.

link to whole sketch

But look at the edging on her jacket; it's the same as the edging on her skirt. It's supposed to look that way (yuck!).

And I suspect that it wasn't inexpensive, either!

Thank you for your post! NO they DIDN'T. What MUST those with cameras have doing to miss THAT opportunity??? --Grounds for having their cameras taken away, if you ask me!

THINK OF IT....ahhh what a nice visual it WOULD HAVE made!

I second that.

We should demand any photos of Andy Garcia taken by White House photographers be released under the Freedom of Information Act.

LOL.

Okay everyone...now think about having our dear President (perhaps in the one real GQ photo of W outside the Oval Office with one end of his glasses in his mouth, you know the pic) and Andy

together in the same photo ....

That WOULD have been a great pic!!!

It's funny--I really wasn't referring to GWB's face as eclectic--but you are right! Last night's Dose was full of many different faces of GWB.

I was thinking that the Dose was eclectic--we had t-ball, Condi, Jeb and guests, breakfast in Miami, stumbling on the steps, etc.--lots of variety last night! It was a great Dose.
