Yesterday, Representative John Dingell of Michigan appeared on a Detroit television program along with Republican Candice Miller. They discussed the crisis in Lebanon; Dingell proclaimed himself neutral. "I don't take sides for or against Hezbollah; I don't take sides for or against Israel." Asked, "You're not against Hezbollah?" Dingell answers, "No..."
Listen to it here on YouTube, or use our player below.
If the Democrats win control of the House of Representatives, Dingell will be the Chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He was one of the eight Democrats who did not vote in favor of the Congressional resolution supporting Israel in its conflict with Hezbollah.
Witness the dumbing down of America.
So I guess Democrats will boycott any congressional speeches by Dingell, walk out on him, demand he apologize, demand he clarify his position, demand he retract, blah, blah, blah just like they did with Iraqi PM Malaki last week. Right?
The world is in a watershed moment...watch the supporters of Israel ride the wave to the "right."
Dumbing down? LOL, we've hit rock bottom already. Dingell can't see any difference between Hezbollah and Israel. Wow...

Thanks,
The Dems may be going for the Mel Gibson vote.
Dingell represents a Detroit area district with a high concentration of Arabs who are not pro-Israel. Doesn't excuse his sentiment, but might explain his choice of words...
God help America if the rats ever gain power. The rats are like this from top to bottom--some are a lot worse.
I feel for my grandchildren!!
Bump!
John Dingell; the man of "jack-booted thugs" fame in referring to the BATFE. You've come a long way, baby.
John Dingell could praise Jeff Daimler's cooking skills and get reelected. Besides there are a lot more Muslims in his districts then Jews.
Try moving to Michigan so you can witness complete idiocy on a daily basis.
It's the dumbing down
of the whole world. Hezbollah
is an "NGO" --
Non-Governmental
Organization. So-called
"smart" people love those.
"Smart" people prefer
NGO's to nation-states
because NGO's
can be run top-down
like a business, not shackled
to politics or
age-old traditions
of citizen-rule. So, yeah,
the self-styled "elites"
prefer Hezbollah
to Israel. Hezbollah
they think's the future . . .

One of the problems is that the media throws out conservatives, Buchanan comes to mind, that say the same thing. Anti-war, anti-Bush, but a political conservative. The current Gibson dust up, he's described as a conservative. Anti-war, anti-Bush, but a conservative none the less. Not everyone pays attention beyond the evening news, lot's don't get that far.
Dingellberry
Thanks for the post.

As a Catholic I suggest you may want to widen your disgust beyond Congressman Dingleberry to just about everybody with a (D)after their name. I'm sure by now you have probaly reached the same conclusion.
