U.N. PWNED
Or the fashionable "Western" style of low-rider jeans with colorful undies showing.
I would also think that he must have been horrified by what he saw in Qana...
All those dead babies and small children, and the obvious set-up that he was expected to play along with....

I'm always worried that they are trying to see me in my nighties in the big picture windows. :)
If they would just report the news. Instead, every self-important news schmuck hasd to stroke their own ego by peppering their reportage with commentary. Lot of bloody nonsense...
"Mideast Turmoil" is the logo for the current battles on the local FOX affiliate. Showing attacks on U.N. in Lebanon and Gaza, wild and crazy stuff. Hizb rocket attacks on Kiryat Shmona, showing the damages and rubble there. Bush saying, "May God bless those who lost thier lives." Egyptians marching in Cairo, Sunnis and Shias in Pakistan, burning U.S. flag.
Local reaction: "Innocent people dying from both ends." Jews and Arabs having dinner together: "If only they could do this in Gaza."
Delegation from Simon Wiesenthal Center here in Los Angeles on the way to Israel with relief aid for towns in northern Israel.
Gang shootings about a mile from where I live.
They are
Are we sure he's not wearing manties under those jeans?
What did I miss on this?? What statement and what did Burns say. (this will teach me to go away from my computer! )

A 3-car shootout in an intersection LESS than a mile from where I live today...
I went through that intersection yesterday.
That's the worst about 24 hour news stations...all that time to fill up...encourages self-important pontifications...
Unfortunately, this indicates that the Hezbos still have some command and control that is functional.
U2
What have I missed of consequence anyone?

Hizballah fighter's sister: We thank God almighty for making us the family of a martyr
"Americans love Pepsi Cola; we love death" Alert from Reuters: "Zest for martyrdom fuels Hezbollah in battle"
BEIRUT - A sister of Hezbollah fighter Mustafa Zalzali wears mourning black for her brother, but his death in battle with Israel elicits more pride than grief.
We thank God almighty for making us the family of a martyr, she said. We received the news of his martyrdom with pride, she told Hezbollahs al-Manar television.
[...]
The family of Zalzali, killed in a recent battle, say they are ready for more sacrifices.
His martyrdom has lifted our heads high, said another of his sisters. Whatever more we can offer, we will. Our men, our children, our siblings."
