Hezbollah is being degraded quite radically, and what's interesting is that it seems much of the degradation is inside Lebanon, and not adjacent to the border.

I can clear this confusion up right away. France has not deployed actual troops on the ground in so many years they don't understand the word LOGISTICS. They think they can say "peackeepers will be supplied by France" and Voila!

I've been looking at too much wildland fire news. To me, NUC means the Northern Utah Dispatch Center (one of the places they dispatch people to work on fires.) This is based in Salt Lake City, and the office my hubby is dispatched out of.

That's the rumor that's been going around awhile.
Yeah, Qatar, whose rep said something about they weren't so much against the resolution and then something about 3 weeks. Which would put it around August 22nd. Does anyone have anymore info on what Qatar's exact statement was?

That's good news all the way around. I'm especially glad to hear that Hezbollah is being degraded.
When they start calling even more shrilly for a ceasefire because 'Israel is killing all their innocent citizens' and pulling publicity stunts like Qana, you know it's going badly for them.
And when the Iranian nutjob and Syria start ratcheting up their rhetoric to the boiling point while not doing anything, you know it's REALLY going badly.
