Suffer the Little Children to Come Unto Me
"And they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them: and His disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."
(Mark 10:13-14)
Jesus did not say suffer the children to come unto Him, except those born to Muslim parents. Remember the children of Beslan, Russia? The people to blame for this morning's tragedy are the Islamofacist ADULTS, men who commit wanton slaughter and the women -- the women who let their men strap bombs on their children, and who teach their children to commit murder-suicide. Condem them, but pray for the innocents, for whom there is NO choice.
This sad situation has hardened my heart even more against the Islamofacists...
Harden your heart against the adults. Have compassion for the slaughtered little ones. That's my only point.

No sane person wants the people of Israel hurt, but, that doesn`t justify the killing of 34 kids. Blame Hezbollah, sure, they started this thing. But, the Israelis knew that using their Air Force instead of ground troops was going to put innocents at risk, and, against the advice of the Army, they sent in the bombers anyway. DUMB
So, now they halt bombing for 48 hours, Hezbollah wins, Syria and Iran are having a party, Bush and Blair are hurt, and 34 kids are dead.
Never saw that before but sure gives weight to the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words." Those pansy Hezbollah freaks,a long with the Lebs who allow them to run the show are reaping what they've sown. I grieve for the innocent children, but their parents are at fault.
It is worse than that. They deliberately placed the children in harm's way (very possibly blew up the building themselves) in order to create a media op.
Bring it under control now, only to manifest itself even worse years from now. War cannot be a half-hearted thing, or else you ensure that they will go on in perpetuity.
What you say may not be PC but you are absolutely right. I grieve for the innocent children, but they brainwash them and they grow up to become racist Jew-haters (and America-haters too).
They just showed some Lebanese guy yelling directly at Pres. Bush and saying his name. These guys have nerve, I tell ya. Nerve.

There is no need for Israel to "step back". It will step back when the Hezzies stop with the katuyshas, return the soldiers, and disarm.
I am not going to call the Israelis cowards, as you have done. I am not going to second-guess their strategy, because I'm not qualified to do so.
I will, however, agree, that the Islamofacists need to be defeated...soundly defeated. Not just in Lebanon, or Iraq, but around the world. But that's a discussion for another time and thread. On this thread, my only concern is the deaths of innocents.

Yes, Fawn. It is the Islamofacists' fault. As already mentioned, I don't distinguish between any named unit of the Islamofacist army, be it Al Qaeda, Hesbollah, Hamas, or any of the others. To me they are all the same.
However, to repeat, this thread is about finding out if we have compassion for the slaughtered little ones, even if they are the children of our enemies.
That's one way to look at it.
