U.S. Democratic Party calls for direct dialogue with North Korea
Yonhap News (South Korea) ^ | July 29, 2006

WASHINGTON, July 29 (Yonhap) -- The U.S. Democratic Party criticized the administration of President George W. Bush on Saturday for failing to resolve the North Korean nuclear and missile problems.

Delivering a radio address to outline his party's future diplomatic policy goals, Bill Richardson, governor of New Mexico, said the current impasse surrounding North Korea has the potential to become dangerous.

He said that while the Bush administration has been arguing against bilateral talks with Pyongyang, the communist country has quadrupled its amount of weapons-grade plutonium.

The politician, who was U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under President Bill Clinton, said his party favors direct talks with both North Korea and Iran, another country that is under international pressure to halt a controversial nuclear program.

Richardson, who negotiated with the North on several occasions in his previous post, blamed Bush and his policymakers for the diplomatic failure in the Middle East and Asia. He claimed these problems wasted U.S. resources and contributed to high oil prices.

Great idea. Let's send our best diplomats back over to negotiate with Kim Jong-Il - Madeline Albright and Roger Clinton.

One more thing Democrats will do that Bush will not. Crawl on their knees to little prick terrorists.

During the Clinton administration the DPRK went from no weapons-grade plutonium to having the ability to make weapons-grade plutonium.

They are half right, might I suggest a monolog.

People of North Korea, you need to Zot Kim Jong Il before we are force to Zot you.

We could accept a dialog of:

Yes.

Lets see, this is who we should send:

Rep. Patrick Kennedy and a case of houch..

Sen. Ted Kennedy and an olsmobile...

Rep. William Jefferson and a freezer full of money...

Sen. Rotten Clinton and Sen. John McCain and a case of houch....(just so she could be 'one of the guys'..)

P.P. William Jefferson Clinton with more secrets on our security....

That should just about do it, don't ya think? I'm sure anyone that would see this group coming would get a really good impression of the democratic party....

Too "unilateral."

Hilarious, isn't it? Whenever I hear that the democrats have a plan, I think Dan Ackroyd's "plan" to get the library ghost in Ghostbusters.

The Democrat Party's Idea of Leadership:

1.Find out where President Bush stands on an issue

2.Announce support for the opposite approach

3.Repeat 1. and 2. for eight years

Hey who is stopping Dem?

Let Carter and Kliton go to NK and provide Dem all the rich unelected Dims are able to provide Dem.

It's just like alternative energy and Stem cell research.

Who the F is STOPPING DEM???

No one but the MFs think that TAX PAYERS $ is the only way to accomplish anything.

Maybe they should contract with Haliburton and get something done all Fn ready.
