the activists had hoped to block the White House gate until Bush and Blair resolved to end the war in Iraq.
The group has issued a nationwide call for people to go on at least a partial hunger strike, if only for a few hours, to show their opposition to the war in Iraq.
Block the White House gate until we agreed to turn tail and allow a massacre of the Iraqis? Do these dimwits really believe the BS they spout?
A hunger strike for a few hours. I usually have breakfast between 5:00 and 5:30 AM. I will have a light snack if I dont have a beer around noon. That would equate to a hunger strike of close to 7 hours. I generally have supper around 5:00 PM. That is a hunger strike of about 5 hours.
Now I have to eat something every hour on the hour so I wont inadvertently support them? I cant do it!

"I have to have faith," said Wilson, a former shrimp boat captain-turned-environmental activist. AH... so Gump is Forrest, and Wilson is Lump!
Lump lingered last in line for brains

Diane Wilson, co-founder of the antiwar group CodePink, was one of five people arrested for blocking a White House entrance. She is also on a hunger strike. From the looks of that photo in the WAPO, either she can hold out on that hunger strike for another 6 months, or she is the first person in the world who can not eat and gain weight.....
"How's that hunger strike going?"

"I know it's going to be the catalyst for something, even if this is not going to be big enough to bring them home." It not even big enough to attract attention! Back in "the day", these things would be wall-to-wall. People and protesters for miles, acres of them.
Today, the children of these loser have grown up, even if their parents haven't, and have NO interest in "reclaiming the glory days" (or is that "daze") of their parent's youth.
Cindy and the rest of the Code Pinkos are 45 minutes past their 15 minutes of fame, and nobody cares anymore...

This definitely reads like a Press Release. It's so disgusting that the DBM are the PR arm of anyone who is anti-Bush, or anti-USA. After the ruckus in the House Chamber when Maliki was speaking, and Medea was arrested, Code Pink issued a press release that included Medea's cel #. Laura Ingraham must have used it because she had Medea in the studio for a segment of her sub-for-Bill O'Reilly show. Did you see it? Laura was wearing a Code Pink pink suit!! Medea does NOT look good on TV closeups!
And who is the retired Colonel in the article? A friend of Murtha and Kucinich?
Wright, a retired Army colonel, said in a telephone interview after her release that the activists had hoped to block the White House gate until Bush and Blair resolved to end the war in Iraq.
This is such a stupid statement, it does not deserve ink or paper.

Medea does NOT look good on TV closeups!I saw that. Medea looks her age in the close-ups (50s), in spite of her superficial little-girl appearance and voice like Cindy Sheehan. She has big horse teeth, and was not doing at all well when Laura held her feet to the fire. Laura's eyes were rolling throughout the interview -- she just cut off Medea's rants at the root and kept asking her the tough questions. Then she dismissed her like yesterday's mashed potatoes. Well done, Laura!

One of yesterday's photos on the Dose shows President Bush, as he enters St John's Church, looking away from the church at some kind of disturbing sight. I wonder if these Lafayette Park 'stalkers' even harass him on Sunday mornings?
I hope someone can get a screen cap of Medea. Her 'headshot' needs distribution on every thread that mentions her name.
She has horse teeth, and a receding chin, and major wrinkles. Did the Fox cameraman delete all his filters, or did she eschew make-up for her appearance? Whatever! She is recorded in all her ugliness.
