At least two or three people shoot.
SEATTLE – At least two people have been shot at the Jewish Federation at 2031 Third Ave. in downtown Seattle. One or two people have been taken into custody but it's not known if they are suspects.
One person was reportedly shot in the abdomen and another in the arm. They are being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Part of Third Avenue and Second Avenue have been closed to traffic. Police are urging people to stay away from the area. It's not known if more suspects are at large but policemen were seen handcuffing one person and others were searching the area.
At least three people were seen emerging from the building, escorted by police. It's not know if they were hostages.
Medics, escorted by police, have been taking other people from the building.

Say you're getting on a King County Metro bus, and it's winter....the guy with the Middle Eastern complexion; Is his puffy jacket for warmth, or is he concealing a bomb belt to blow you all to smithereens?
Or the woman in the chador you see in the grocery store...will she suddenly cry out "Allahu Ackbar!!!" and blow up a Safeway?

I doubt another Charles Manson is ever tought to be the killer Manson..These people are high profile and most people recognize their faces from TV and the news.

A law-enforcement source identified the arrested suspect as Naveed Afzal Haq, 30, who until recently had lived in Everett, and said Haq apparently has a history of mental illness. Court records show Haq has a charge of lewd conduct pending against him in Benton County.
"He said he hates Israel," said the source, who is part of the Seattle Joint Terrorism Task Force, which was called in to help investigate the shootings.
A Muslim-American man angry with Israel barged into the offices of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle Friday afternoon and opened fire with a handgun, killing one woman and wounding five others before surrendering to police.

I am sick to death of people like this Naveen Haq terrorizing our citizens, and it has to stop. Talking hasn't done it. Negotiating hasn't done it. Pleading hasn't done it. Being nice hasn't done it. Bribery (through foreign aid) hasn't done it. Protesting hasn't done it. Appeasing hasn't done it.
What's left? You tell us.

The man was booked into King County Jail at 10:38 p.m. as Naveed Afzal Haq on one count of investigation of homicide and five counts of investigation of attempted homicide, according to King County Jail records.
In addition, directly and clearly advocating murder is not only against FR posting guidelines (last time I checked) but I have no doubt that the multiple agencies that monitor FR are very interested in this sort of post as well.
I was in a thread here once that was pertaining to Ireland, and somebody started going on about how GREAT the IRA is and how they are freedom fighters and yadda yadda yadda. I reminded him that the IRA was regarded as a Terrorist Organization by the US Government as well as Interpol and most sane people in the world, and how astonished I was that some people seem to think that sites like FR are somehow "private", and how expressing support for a terrorist organization was not exactly appreciated by most law enforcement agencies.
He got pretty quiet after that.
I'm sure it was done by Christian fundamentalists, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses or Seventh-day Adventists. They're always pulling this kind of thing.

Haq had a misdemeanor lewd conduct charge pending in Benton County, near Pasco, where he was accused of exposing himself in a public place, his attorney, Larry Stephenson, told The Times.
Stephenson said he does not believe Haq had a job.
