Maybe if she'd had drinks with a guy like McCain when she was in her 20's, she'd have grown up to be a more sensible woman.

I can believe the words drinking contest were used, and I can believe that vodka was sampled or drank, but for me to accept that this was an old fashioned vodka drinking contest (to the end) will take some real confirmation.

>God help us if either of these losers are ever aa resident of the White House.<

Why did a picture of a Republicrat Clinton-McCain ticket flash before my very eyes? With Smirnoff Vodka as the drink of State, too!

"One of the guys," is the way McCain describes her.

She would've won a p!ssing contest, that's for sure.

Developing indeed! Watch your arse, johnboy, this woman will suggest you run as pres and she as vice prez, then you will die tragically within a year of winning the election. Newver, ever trust a clinton.

If I were in a delegation in which Hillary was also a member, I'd be drinking heavily, too.

I wouldn't. A wise man drinks with his friends and stays stone cold sober around his enemies.

So either McCain isn't wise or he doesn't think Hillery is his enemy. Either one is bad news.

To your post 11. That was my exact thought. I don't know why there wasn't a "barf alert" with this post.

Drinking contests at their age? Rather juvenile, IMHO.

One more reason neither of them is qualified to be CIC, POTUS, or even sinator.

They can't run against each other. McCain wouldn't make it through the Republican primary, nor Hilary through the Democrat primary. It's just not going to happen unless one (or gah, both) parties decide to swallow the line of electability.

That being said, if McCain came out, say, in January saying he was going to pull a Perot - yeah, I could see Hilary making it, and going against each other, but that's about the only possible scenario.

I can't believe nobody's posted any pictures, even photoshopped ones, of these two boozin' it up.

Where's that one of Hillary where she's mostly asleep and looking drugged into a stupor, for example...?

"self-styled centrists"?????
I uppose that shows that a liberal writer can't either "middle" correctly described.
Well, the media is butterin' him up, at least until SHE is nominated.

Then?

FWIW, I'd rather they kid around with a drinking contest, than be out-and-out active alcoholics. And the Republic has survived more than one POTUS who was exactly that. (Incidentally, although President Bush has acknowledged a past problem with drinking, he doesn't count because he's not drinking these days.)
