I thought the Graf Zeppelin was an airship not an a/c carrier.

Nice. A little piece of naval history to start the morning off. Great article!

But after Googling the matter, I guess I thought wrong.

It was both; The Graf airship was world-renowned in the 20's and 30's. It sailed around the world. Hence Hitler named the carrier after the famed airship.

I'm terribly sorry!
I checked under the keywords "Germany" and "Poland", nothing there, so I thought no one had posted it yet.

Robert Plant is German?

I didn't see it, so thanks for the post.
Some of us have better things to do than to read every post all day everyday. Some peoples reaction to reposts demonstrate the need for federal funding of stress management.

Thank you for posting this as I had not seen it.
I guess the post police hate for the people who have not seen this post to see it.
Some people do not stay on FR 24/7.
Now they have a large graphic to waste band width along with their crying.
