Ann Coulter just on Cavuto being interviewed.
She wanted to "remind the viewers" that the normal election cycle is for the party in the White House to lose seats. She expects this election to be one where Republicans lose seats. She added "a lot of seats" before Neil moved on to another question.

This whole thread is crazy! Where is the polling data? I want to see race-by-race analysis that shows the specific seats the pubbies will lose. Otherwise this is all just a big mind game. A generic pubs vs dems poll means nothing.
Can somebody post a list of congressmen and senators who stand to lose their seats if current polling continues? RealClearPolitics no longer posts their district-by-district polls (that I can see).
I want to see the hard data that shows which specific seats will make up this "swing".
Otherwise, this is just more FR angst. (Which is very unbecoming)
...when it stands up and takes the country and the Constiution back.
Good point, haven't thought about that one.
No.
She's an expert on analyzing left-woing liberal swine.
We have a couple of talk show hosts around here who do the same thing. They're too good to vote Republican and they're too good to get in there and get their hands dirty to work to make the Republican party better.
I'm sure we all want the same thing but I bet you're doing nothing to improve the situation.
Have you run in a primary? Have you backed a Republican candidate in a primary that you deem worthy?
Put up or shut up!! You, and those like you are irrelevant. All you can do is help make things worse by helping RATS. You do more harm than good. Either get in there and try to make things better or SHUT UP!!!
Sorry, but between the purists on FR and these holier-than-thou talk show hosts around here, I'm fed up. You only belittle the work the rest of us are doing trying to achieve the exact same things you want.
As I am a scientist I confirm she is actually right in saying that a 'belief' in science makes one doubt God or 'Divine Providence' as historically referenced by many scientists.
Every scientist philosopher including computer scientists knows there are limitations to every scientific theory and system, for otherwise science would be equivalent to astrology. The reason the scientific method is successful is precisely because it is allowed to be wrong whereas astrology will always have an answer to everything. As a system astrology is closed, science is open.
So Coulter is merely pointing to the pattern of behavior that says science has an answer for everything. It does not and if it did it would be as useless as astrology.
I think they can buck the trend as well too, but its going to take a better effort than what is being now.
I agree, but the GOP has to do a better job of making their case why we should vote for them.
History goes back more than a couple of years.
You don't see the reality in front of your eyes.
What have the Republicans done to further Conservative causes?
How much have they shrunk the federal government and it's reach?
How many powers have been handed back to the sovriegn states and local community governments?
What impending problems have they solved?
What have they done to stop Judicial Activism?
The best thing for us is gridlock in congress these days. Everytime they pass legislation it robs our freedom, our bank accounts and our future.
The GOP would have to lose 31 seats for the Dems to get a majority.
Actually, there is currently a 29 seat difference - 231 to 202, 2 vacancies (if you count the Socialist Bernie Sanders as a Demoncrat). This means that if the Republicans lose a net 15 seats, the Demoncrats will be in control (216-217, plus what the 2 vacancies end up being - one of the vacancies is Tom DeLay's old seat and the other is Robert Menendez' old seat, so they will split at best).
Who is your congressman? If he's a pubbie, why specifically are you voting against him/her? Not something Bush did, or some generic "republicans" did, but him/her specifically?
I think there's a lot of angst about "republicans", but when it gets broken down to individual congressmen, the angst melts away.
There is NO data that supports the pubbies losing 30 seats on a seat-by-seat basis.
One more Supreme Court appointment for this President, and the egregious SCOTUS decisions will essentially stop. The originalists will be able to establish their jurisprudence.
We're hanging by a thread here. Keep electing Republicans. They've got to govern better to maintain control. For that, keep the pressure on, but don't let Democrats get elected.
I agree with you wholeheartedly!
Some of us are also afraid of our house being taken from us to that a developer can build another strip mall and increase tax revenue.
I didn't hear anything from the Republicrats after the Kelo decision! Only after months of people writing letters and making calls did they start to pay a small amount of lip service. THEY STOOD BY SILENTLY WHILE THE SCOTUS STRIPPED US OF OUR GOD GIVEN PROPERTY RIGHTS!
If that doesn't tell you the whole story on the party then nothing will!
A contitutionalist SCOTUS would be nice but what will actually happen is that the conservative judges will recuse themselves when abortion and other critical conservative issues come up. Or the chief justice will just refuse to hear the case. They will continue to go along with recent precident in these types of cases that are heard and we'll continue to be screwed.
It's already happening.
>What have the Republicans done to further Conservative causes?
The vitally important task of keeping the Dem/Socialists from taking away even more of your rights as Gore/Kerry most certainly would have.
My congressperson is a RAT. He immediately denounced Kelo. Should I vote for nim?
