Ann Coulter just on Cavuto being interviewed.
She wanted to "remind the viewers" that the normal election cycle is for the party in the White House to lose seats. She expects this election to be one where Republicans lose seats. She added "a lot of seats" before Neil moved on to another question.

Medicare has very stringent oversight on what is covered and what is not covered and their biggest downfall has been now encouraging preventive treatment and requiring some treatments that could be performed in the physicans office be done in a hospital at a great dollar amount.
Most doctors (I work for one) accept Medicare which means they accept what medicare deems fair for a procedure or visit and are required to write off the difference, Many times hospitals have a very large write off as a result of this differential between what private insurance pays and medicare or medicaid pay.
Most people on SS as well as Medicare would have a great deal of money, at retirement, for both living and private insurance if they had been allowed to invest the money, paid in over the years, instead of congress rolling it into the general fund and squandering it... most of the generation had to pay into SS AND private investments in order to guarantee a decent retirement.
Your generation should be pushing, hard, to get control over how the fund is administered in the future instead of grousing over the people who currently benefit from it.
First of all she's not my mother, she's my mother in law. Second, without the assistance of medicare, she would not be able to afford the high costs of her prescriptions and we as a couple don't make enough to make up the difference. Why are you against helping people like her to live a little longer and in better health? Some people don't have the means to pay for these things all on their own.
See my #193.
I agree with you, but that's really just another way of saying, "talk is cheap."
I agree with the Senate statement, but disagree about the House. We will retain that, too..
Radio stations can censor. Publishers can censor. Newspapers can censor.
Heck, I can even censor myself and not call you an idiot for not understanding a very basic word in the English language.
Oh, and so sorry about the typo. (Have instead of haven't.)
I realize that with your poor language skills it must have confused you.
No, no, Sam says it has nothing to do with Ann. It's just that trolls only show up on Ann threads. (/snicker)
Free Republic does not require explanations as to why a person signs up. IMO, It is inappropriate for a poster to be asked for one. We may not agree on any or all subjects but I welcome you for taking the time to join the conversation.
Look how few even bother to show up and vote in a primary election! Everyone who sits out an election, any election, is complicit in the government we have in Washington today.
That is a very good point.
R's got there majority by winning the ground game, but the motivation may not be there this time.
But we'll see. As it gets closer to election time, we may get more scared.
Given that a dem controlled House will certainly mire Dubya in impeachment proceedings for most of 2007, I'd say 'yes, it will make a difference in what comes out of DC.'
No but we should be able to have the important things.
What makes you think it's going to get better?
It's not proper to bring in stuff from other threads. Take it back where it started and stop your hijack in this one.
Why do you hate America?
Many elderly can barely figure out when they are being scammed into a Medicare HMO and many were (and still are) confused by the drug program, which, in fact, has turned out to help many of them and actually did end up creating competition between the different insurers to get the best drug prices... in other words the free market ended up doing what many people wanted congress to mandate.
She's saying the same thing the GOP bigwigs are.
Ballderdash. Polls are descriptive, not predictive. They certainly don't predict behavior that will occur months from now. BTW, this chairman said that the GOP could lose up to 30 seats. That is a pretty broad spread.
"Oh, and so sorry about the typo. (Have instead of haven't.)"
You forgot about "obvious."
I take it, even though you can't quite actually say it, that you think that the Dixie Chicks were censored by the radio stations. You're wrong, but at least now you're consistent. You were wrong when you tried to pin your floundering attempt to characterize Ann's "censorship" on the "officiousness" of the action. But you did give it a good try.
The question is why? I guess we all have our windmills to tilt at. Hey, I get it, maybe you're on Ann's payroll. That would explain why you're so quick to always throw out Soros, and engage in name-calling, instead of engaging in actual analysis and discussion.
