CRAWFORD, Texas
War protester Cindy Sheehan has purchased a 5-acre plot in Crawford with some of the insurance money she received after her son was killed in Iraq.
The group she helps lead, Gold Star Families for Peace, says on its Web site that it will return next month to protest the war in Iraq in the small town near Waco where President Bush has a ranch. Like last year, Sheehan, whose son Casey was killed in Iraq in 2004, will again demand to meet with the president.
"We decided to buy property in Crawford to use until George's resignation or impeachment, which we all hope is soon for the sake of the world," Sheehan said in a newsletter set to be sent to supporters Thursday. "I can't think of a better way to use Casey's insurance money than for peace, and I am sure that Casey approves."
Her anti-war gathering in Crawford is scheduled for Aug. 16 through Sept. 2. But Bush is scheduled to be at his ranch mainly during the first two weeks of August.
Sheehan, from California, reinvigorated the anti-war movement last summer with her peace vigil, which started in ditches off the road to Bush's ranch. As it grew, the group also set up its protests on a private, 1-acre lot closer to the ranch.
She had a life. She pissed it away!
I am seriously not trying to be mean, but that women next to Cindy is one of the ugliest women I have seen ever. Cindi is no prise, but God must have been laughing his a$$ off making that women.
She can buy property for her protesting folly, but, IIRC, there is no headstone for her hero sons grave.

What an annoying women. She's going to get herself in trouble while she's there and she will bring it all on herself. She will have nobody to blame but herself then.
I hope not, I am sure the residents of Crawford are not real happy with her moving in and bringing disruption to their quiet town. I can't see her having alot of friends there. And when all is said and done, she's not going to have alot of friends anywhere after the election. Everyone has got to think she's a screwball and the democrats are just using her as a prop.
cindy has a life... being a puppet for the wacked out left. She is as good as it gets to help promote their agenda of hate and stupidity.
A good reporter would have told us where the other (99?) percent of the funds came from.

Dingbat was scheduled to protest in Taos, NM on Aug 5th. She was supposed to lead a protest march to Sec Rumsfeld's property and then speak at a local radio station and at the Taos center for the arts (which does a lot of moonbat advocacy). Her promoter called today to cancel the event. Evidently, they didn't think she'd make enough money and generate enough publicity. The local moonbats are going to be in tears as word filters out.

The thing I found interesting is that the least expensive homes are the ones closest in to town. Even if they have a little acreage...
When we were there last summer I could see how people would have gotten annoyed with all the traffic...
It's no wonder she could find one.. the "Peace House" is right on the way into town from Waco..
And where did sheman get the rest of the money?
